Hello,
I've been searching for an app that can let me track how many servings of whole grains, calcium, vitamin c, protein, iron, etc. Basically a pregnancy food tracker to make sure I am eating what I should be to help my baby grow.
Can anyone recommend an app? I printed out the daily nutrition checklist from the bump, but i rather not have to photocopy it about 230 times, hahah.
Re: Daily nutrition app?
I have an iPhone, and I've used the "Lose It!" app for years. It's not specifically a pregnancy food tracker, but a food journal that's geared towards weight loss, which is how I've always used it. It's pretty simple, has a huge food database, and you can upload your own recipes. They also have a website where you can keep track of your food intake if you can't get the app on your phone.
Not gonna lie, I haven't kept track of any food intake since I've been pregnant. I eat a pretty healthy diet to begin with, and I just make sure that whatever I'm snacking on is relatively healthy (bananas, grape tomatoes, whole grain granola and crackers, etc.). The only thing I really need to keep track of is dairy - I used to have yogurt every morning for breakfast and eggs a couple times a week, but I can't stomach any kind of soft food now. I just make sure I have a glass of milk with every meal and my afternoon snack is always cheese and crackers.
