Brazilian Butt Lift - Beachbody Program

Have any of you  followed the BBL program while pregnant (I'm only 5 weeks) ?  If so, did you do all of the videos and follow the exact plan laid out in the book or did you do more a pick and choose schedule (leaving out the ab work, cardio, etc.)?

I'm really itching to get back at it and just wanted some input from others that have been there - done that. With my last pregnancy I gained 50 lbs and DO NOT plan on going down that road again.

Thanks!!!

Re: Brazilian Butt Lift - Beachbody Program

  • I had to take a complete exercise break to cycle for FET, so I plan on just starting back with the sculpt and high&tight, then ease back into the cardio if I can.  I'm not all that coordinated to start with, so I imagine I'll just be skipping moves and going at my own pace.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

  • Thanks for the reply.  I am pretty lousy at cardio and tend to push it way too hard so I was thinking about laying off that and just walking when I am not doing the toning workouts.  Yesterday I went ahead and did Bum Bum and holy cow do I feel it today.

Last time I was pregnant it was mostly through the winter months so I could hide my flabby spots but this time around I want to be able to enjoy the pool and outside weather without being completely self-conscious.

  • I just started this!  I do it along with the weight lifting program, ChaLean Extreme.  I did high & tight for the first time today, and I'm going to be SO sore.

Your plan sounds good- walking is a great low impact exercise. I'm a beach body coach, so let me know if you have any questions about BBL or what to do afterwards!

  • ^^^ awesome, thanks.  By the way I LOVE LOVE LOVE ChaLean Extreme!  It worked wonders after my last pregnancy.
  • I've continued to do Insanity through my first tri and now a little into my second. I've modified it w little to reduce the impact and once I start to get bigger the bending and the push-ups will be harder. I've also done BBL a few times too. I was doing both before so I've tried to keep it up. :) I just watch my here rate, trying to keep it around 160 or lower which is good for me.
