Hi! I'm getting 200 folic acid between my prenatals and my b complex. I am not ttc yet, but will be in 3 months. Do you just pee out all of the extra like most vitamins? Thanks!

That definitely isn't too much. My prenatal alone has 800, unless you meant 2000 instead of 200.
200 what? 200 Mg, 200 mcg, 200 gm? The number is useless unless you know what the does is.
Most prenatals have 800 mcg (micrograms) in them, but it's not uncommon for women to take an additional 400 mcg to equal 1200 mcg, or 1.2 mg (milligrams).
If you're taking 200 gms (grams) yes, that's entirely too much.
For the most part, extra folic acid will be excreted through your urine, but taking excessive doses of it can mask other problems. Just because something is water soluble doesn't make it harmless - Vitamin C is water soluble but can cause kidney stones in large doses.

you are not anywhere near too much. I take 800mcg in my prenatal and then the dr prescribed 4mg since we have a history of neural tube defects. that equals 4800mcg. total everyday.
