Anyone familiar with this brand: babybanz?

or these?

Please send feedback/suggestions for different brands, etc.

Thanks!

What do you need protector earmuffs for? I'd just avoid any loud events with baby...

lol...because I want to take DD to a metallica concert at 8mns??? Really? What kind of question is that?

There are a number of reasons I need earmuffs for DD. Like for instance, DH is a frequently traveling race tech who rarely we get to see & family perks are necessary ;)... Also good for fireworks on the fourth, etc.

I merely asked for feedback to anyone who has experience.

    That's all :-)

  • I purchased the pro-ears revo premium noise protection earmuffs. I used them on my DD when she was 4 months at a Formula 1 race. They worked great and she was not bothered by the loud noises at all.

Her pedi approved of the earmuffs and race event. She said if the noise was bothersome DD would let me know. She slept through all the racing events. They are a little pricey at 40 dollars but she can use them into her teen years, and they come in cute colors and prints.

  • We have the babybanz and like them.  Baby wore them at a NFL game and actually fell asleep! Don't think she heard a thing!

  • We have the Em's. I liked that they use a soft headband to stay on. DH is a musician in a very loud band and I've brought DS to their band practice a few times with the Em's on. He loves them! He doesn't try to mess with them or pull them off and has no problem wearing them. The longest he's worn them for is probably close to 2 hours and I took them off because we didn't need them on anymore, not because he was ready for them to come off.

They actually come in hand more often than you think. DH also used to be a trim carpenter and was working on some trim in our house using an air compressor. I threw the Em's on DS and it wasn't a big deal at all.

    Really?

The babybanz are great.  We got them for top fuel races.

Yes, really...an infant does not need to go to a car race. Or a shooting event. Or be close to the fireworks at the fourth of July. Or go hang out by the airport runway.  Vibrations can be as upsetting in some situations as the actual noise.

you raise your kid & we'll raise ours. live & let live... Infield/pitlane is a totally different ballgame volume wise, you'd be surprised just how comfortable it is to hang, without ear protection, as an adult... However I am still taking necessary precautions, obviously. HAND :)

You're welcome! They fit great. Her cheeks were a little smooshed when she wore them in her carseat, but not when I was holding her or when my H wore her. They would be fine in a regular stroller as well.

I let her wear them at home a few times for her to get used to them, but she didn't mind either way. Also, at the F1 race, there was a couple with a similar pair on a 6 week old, and that baby did great as well.

ETA:  I tried to post a pic and failed...or not.

  • We got the babybanz for a family music festival we went to baby was about 12 weeks. I had him in the Ergo with them on, and he did great! He slept most of the day with them. The fit was great, and it's adjustable so should fit through age 2.

  • We use Peltor Kids brand for our girls for soccer games...our oldest even liked them occasionally for noisy family events or restaurants. I've also seen BabyBandsz at the stadium.

I think getting ear protection is wonderful! Our girls love getting out to see games :)

I think your oldest has a good plan for family events, lol... I may try that idea when our family gatherings involve inlaws for myself wink
