Anyone who is researching double strollers online, if you can, I highly suggest going somewhere to see them in person. The only place we have near me is Buy Buy Baby 45 minutes away, and I'm so glad I made the drive. There were so many really nice, popular ones, that I did not like at all in person! I was very surprised; especially because I was considering ordering one of those online. The size and how they push were the biggest things that changed my mind. (fyi I'm on the smaller and shorter side, so I was looking for one easy for me to handle and that didn't feel gigantic and also had a good basket.)

Bumbleride
Indie Twin- amazing, but so dang expensive. If I can find an awesome
deal maybe it can happen. So easy to steer and seemed the most petite of
the beastly side by sides.
Britax be Agile- for a nice, moderately priced side by side I liked this one better than the city mini.
Chicco
tandem- if I decide to go tandem, this one was much easier for me to
steer than the Graco's. But these kind seem really long and hard to maneuver.

Baby Jogger City Mini Double- this is so popular, but for some reason I did not like it! The look, the fabric, it felt big to me and I felt awkward pushing it, it seemed a tad heavier or harder to steer, the basket sucked. I was surprised by this one.
Britax b Ready- I was lusting after this online but it was huge in person. Tall and wide. Then you have the lower bottom seat which I was apprehensive about anyway.
Baby Jogger City Select- Too expensive, and although nice, it seemed big to me too.
This post turned out to be long, but maybe it will help someone who obsesses about which stroller to get like me.
Re: XP: So glad I tested out double strollers in person
See if you can find a Peg Perego Aria 60/40 to test out.
I felt the same way with every double I looked at. I really didn't like any of them.
I love my City Mini and I tested out a ton of doubles in the store too. To each their own!
I have the same feelings about the Select as you. Too big and heavy. Nice concept though.

this!
I am sure I'm totally in the minority with the city mini!! I mean, it is a nice stroller, and I can see why people do like it, but I was just surprised I ended up liking so many others better. I think I way overrated it in my mind before I actually saw it in person too.
But... I just ordered the bumbleride indie twin in seagrass on amazon for 500 bucks!! Woo hoo! Thanks for the tips ladies. I didn't realize the new ones come out next month so I thought I'd better take my chance at a discount. And my husband actually watched a youtube video of it so he could see how nice it is and how maybe the crazy price tag is for a reason haha. I guess I'll find out in July!
Nice!!! I'm ordering mine soon!

Some toddlers love riding in the stroller, some don't.
A double stroller was the biggest waste of money for us. My 2 and a half year old won't get anywhere near it!
