FTM feeling stupid... I need lunch ideas for an 11 month old. i am trying to wean him off purees and he does pretty well with textures. I don't want to buy Gerber "TV dinners" if I can help it.
Cheese or Black Bean and Cheese Quesadilla on (smaller sized) whole wheat tortilla. I mash the black beans with a fork onto a tortilla (only onto half), cover the beans with a little mild cheddar cheese, fold the tortilla, microwave for about 30seconds, cut into little squares.
Yobaby yogurt
Any kind of fruit
Frozen veggies - I buy the bags of mixed veggies, there are lots of varieties. I put some in a child-sized bowl, add about 1/2in of water, microwave until warm.
Shredded cheese
Peanut butter on crackers (if he's not allergic, of course)
Frozen waffles or pancakes
Scrambled eggs
Canned Veggies
I'm sure there are more, but that's all I can think of at the moment. Sometimes I'll give leftovers from the last night's dinner.
Good luck!

If we have chicken from the night before I try to save a little also for lunch the next day but we do cheese and pieces of strawberries, apples, really any fruit.

Time for #2!
IVF #1 (Long Lupron) July 2013 = BFP!!!
Beta #1 (8/1) 203! Beta #2 (8/8) 3,677! 1st u/s scheduled for 8/15!
Here's a few more ideas
Beans
Eggs (depending on allergy)
Hummus and pita
sweet potatoes (I cut in 8 pieces and bake in oven)
avacado
shelled edamame
I have also done extra firm tofu cooked in olive oil and garlic
You can just take whatever you're having or leftovers and cut into small pieces, you might be surprised what he can handle.

I like the quesedilla idea!
