I hope I get ms.. When I was pregnant with DD I was just nauseous and didn't eat very much and lost 15 pounds. So far, I had a stomach bug from hell and have lost 12 pounds. I am where I was when I started having ms with DD and so far no nausea. If I have ms like I did with DD I would loose even more weight! I would most likely dip down where I was pre DD. That would be wonderful! I am weird, I know.nbsp;
I know some ladies want morning sickness to help ease their minds about having a healthy pregnancy. Wanting it to lose weight?! That's insane.
That's why it's a confession. I recognize that it's not typical...and pretty ridiculous...But if I had been throwing my brains up last time around I would not feel this way...since I only get nauseous, why not?! My doctor last time around made it clear that our bodies are okay to loose weight this early on because our bodies are still getting the proper nutrients to the baby. Obviously I wouldn't purposely avoid eating, but if it happened I wouldn't hate it.
You are right it is ridiculous you have lost weight already yet you want m/s to lose more? I'd say your priorities are right in order.

This is more than weird. That's kind of dipping into unhealthy issues area...no, I'm not particularly enjoying that I'm super bloated and my clothes aren't fitting all that well, but I'm not fat, I'm growing a baby.
I am still eating, and like I said before 1st tri weight loss is normal and okay...if I was still hoping to loose weight in my 2nd or 3rd tri...then that would be unhealthy. I am not trying to loose weight, my confession is that weight loss would be a plus.

I have been very sick and thrown up many times so far during this PG. the only time it's somewhat bearable is when DH is home to hear the yacking, I feel like it proves to him how sick I really am!
After eating super healthfully the past few weeks, and trying to manage my weight gain, I ate Chick fil a for breakfast the past two mornings. 1. I finally felt satisfied (not hungry) for the first time in about a week. 2. I POOPED yesterday and today. AMAZING POOPS!!! (I've only had about 3 good ones prior to this since the beginning of pregnancy) I'm beginning to think Chick fil a is miracle food and worrying that I might start eating more of it.
I live in Canada and have never had Chick-fil-a - what kind of food is it? I mean, I can guess it is likely chicken.... I have heard about it lots on here so I am thinking I will need to try it sometime when I go south.
It is chicken with waffle fries and chicken sandwhiches and omg amazing. Sorry Fort Riley has NONE around here. but since we are talking about chicken. Zaxby's would KILL right now. They are better than Chick-fil-a and omg. My mouth is watering. I would kill for it. But it is a slowly growing chain mostly in the southern states at the moment but it is expanding. I need one on every corner, like NOW.
Zaxby's is AMAZING! I grew up in Northern IN and never heard of either Chick-fil-a or Zaxby's until I moved to GA. I ate so many Zensation Zalads last year it was ridiculous. I really hope they come out again this year. And Zax sauce?!?! omg I feel the need to go to Zaxby's for lunch today. I'm sorry they're aren't any located around you right now!
I hate you right now, I would seriously kill for some.

You lose weight. You don't LOOSE it. Lose. To lose is a verb. Loose is an adjective, as in, "You must have a screw loose."
Not flaming. Just correcting.

But the fact that you're HOPING to lose more weight, when you SHOULD be gaining (yes, I know, losing in the first tri is normal)...is weird. The reason people are losing weight is because they can't keep anything down, not so they can be at their pre-pregnancy weight. Confession or not, it's a stupid thought process.

We don't have a Zaxby's but we have Raising Canes and they are very similar. The sauce is like crack, for real. I have heard it is the same sauce at both places but I'm not sure. I do have the receipe though.

I have a tube going into my abdomen that I have to re-insert everyday with a needle. That tube is attached to a pump of anti nausea drugs that I have to carry everywhere. I have been in the hospital twice, lost 15 pounds and can barely care for my son during the day because I am so sick. I realize its a confession but this is just annoying to me because I have been suffering for over a month and you're wishing for it to lose weight? Be careful what you wish for.

Here's another confession. I live in Northern VA and we have no Zaxbys nearby, but I have had it once when I was in Alabama. Not that impressed. Yeah, I said it. Only cause its flame free Friday and I'm feeling brave. On the same trip to Alabama I had Bojangles for the first time and THAT was totally amazing IMHO.

All this Zaxby's talk makes me want to hurl! It's way too greasy for me, but I wold compromise with DH an eat there frequently so that I could get what I wanted next time we went out. Now that I'm gluten free I don't have to worry about it, but DH made me go through the Zaxby's drive through yesterday right after my OB appt b/c it's right next door. I was starving and had to smell the mess for the 20 minute ride home Also, what he orders there is 1200 calories.

That is flucking ridiculous!!! Between yesterday and today, I have decided you must be brainless.
When I have a frustrating day with DS, I dress him up in funny clothes. Today he is in a tuxedo onesie with no pants. He has been so whiny and was up at 4 and 5am today. He looks so incredibly cute and it makes me smile!
I'm also leaving him in the onesie (but will put pants on him) to go over to MIL's for lunch today. I can't stand her and she wants to take a bunch of stupid pictures oh DS...again. I know seeing him in the dorky onesie will irritate her so I'm keeping it on him.
This. I love this. I can't stand my MIL and can totally see myself doing something like this. Except I would probably take it even further. LOL!
I judge people who don't go into their birth educated. I don't judge the way they give birth as long as they are educated.
I don't know if I am quite wording this right. I don't judge people whose birth goes in a way that makes them unhappy I feel bad for them. But I judge if you go in not knowing anything about it and not knowing your options and then you just get pushed over by your doctor and wind up disappointed, what did you expect to happen?
At least just educate yourself so you know why a doctor would recommend somethings, what normal birth looks like and how it progresses. Know about this huge thing you are going into so you can advocate for yourself. If you know about it and you choose the medication, I don't judge, if you know about it and you choose a RCS or a VBAC I don't judge. But I judge when you know nothing and then just go on the word of one doctor/MW. It is dumb giving birth is one of the biggest things you will ever do.
Sorry rant over, PS told you all I was a wordy person.
I agree with you to an extent. My first I just thought I could just do it, since its sooo natural for a woman. Hindsight man.

We eat processed food daily. We're all very healthy.
Sorry but I am arguing this you might be a healthy weight and active but the effects of processed foods are not immediate they are long term. Cancer, heart conditions, diabetes. All things that won't rear their ugly head immediately. I'm not trying to say that we are perfect and never eat crap because we do but daily we try to be better at what we put in our mouths and our child's and I am shocked to hear that there is anyone who isn't at least trying to work toward eating non-processed foods. It is a process (no pun intended) that takes a long time and we still have a long way to go but I cannot imagine just being okay with eating fake food!
What exactly do you think is fake food? Do you really believe cancer is caused by Kraft Mac and Cheese?

Emma, I'm not being snarky, I'm a little concerned. Do you have (or had) food issues like an eating disorder? Puking from MS could definately be a trigger for those feelings and I think you should maybe talk to someone about that? Sorry if I'm stepping on some toes....

My confession is that I am one of the ones who secretly wished for m/s because I was feeling insecure about the pregnancy. And like all of the wise posters here said, I should have just been thankful that I didn't have it. Because now I do and I am miserable. And all of those ladies were right.
My want to punch my DH. In the face. He's stressed out at work and crabby at home. He's being pretty insensitive and I think he thinks I'm using pregnancy as an excuse to be lazy or something, even though I'm still doing EVERYTHING. He's going away this weekend and I'm really looking forward to having a break from him.

Is that all you eat? And then everything else you eat is fine? I don't think that kind of stuff in moderation will kill you but seriously check out the ingredient label! Artificial flavor and color. Artificial=fake. Plus a list a mile long of things you probably don't even know what it is...not okay.
You didn't answer my question. You can't make bracket black and white statements about "processed foods" when literally just about everything you get from the grocery store is processed in some way. Artificial doesn't = fake, it means its not actually flavored by whatever the flavor is, either at all or 100%. That isn't always a bad thing. And most of those words you don't understand are preservatives, which have been used in foods for decades with no direct link to anything. You are fear mongering. Mac and Cheese or chicken nuggets are not the end of the world.

Re: *** FFFC ***
You are right it is ridiculous you have lost weight already yet you want m/s to lose more? I'd say your priorities are right in order.
I am still eating, and like I said before 1st tri weight loss is normal and okay...if I was still hoping to loose weight in my 2nd or 3rd tri...then that would be unhealthy. I am not trying to loose weight, my confession is that weight loss would be a plus.

I hate you right now, I would seriously kill for some.
I just had to google Zaxby's! I have one about 30 mins away. Def going to try it sometime!
Get the wings and things!! and make sure you get zax sauce...one of the best parts of the whole damn thing!!! Oh and the fried pickles are seasonal but they are amazing too!!
You lose weight. You don't LOOSE it. Lose. To lose is a verb. Loose is an adjective, as in, "You must have a screw loose."
Not flaming. Just correcting.
If you were miserable, puking constantly to the point the you need IV fluids like I've been, you'd hate it!

I was starving and had to smell the mess for the 20 minute ride home
Also, what he orders there is 1200 calories.
God forbid you lose weight in a healthy way...
FFS!
It must be nice to know everything Wash!!!!
This. I love this. I can't stand my MIL and can totally see myself doing something like this. Except I would probably take it even further. LOL!
I agree with you to an extent. My first I just thought I could just do it, since its sooo natural for a woman. Hindsight man.
LOL don't get her started!
Hehe. I think this describes me.

I love this! And I especially love the part about your MIL. I've got to try that. Mine always want me to dress DS up like a little doll so she can take pictures and brag to her family... It's kind of odd.

If I did I would probably get a lot of, "how could you be so insensitive???" remarks.
Not all artificial flavoring is man made.
What is a day on the board without a good a$$ jumping?
Do it... We've got your back!
But you know you want to!!
Bullsh!t!! Hahahah!!
