My child has disgustingly long, monster toe nails. She will not let us come close to cutting them...she completely wigs out. I really wish I could take her to the vet and get her sedated like the dog. Good thing it's not sandal season!!

My little sister is pregnant and for reasons that involve a brain injury and a longass story dating back 8 years, she's completely overwhelmed with registering for gifts for her shower. So I'm going to do it for her this weekend because her H is a total douche who won't help her, and we live 3 hours from them. I can't wait. I'm so excited to register for baby shiit again without actually being pregnant that it's ridiculous. DH thinks I'm nuts, but I don't care. I love picking out baby stuff and scanning it with that registry gun!
When we first set up our bank account, I was able to access it online once. Then it stopped working for me. That was two years ago and I definitely should have gone in to see them and gotten it fixed. But this way DH has to take care of paying the bills and stuff, and I like it that way. So I keep "forgetting" to go get it fixed.
I have to run most days or I go insane. Lately, CK has been in an, "I hate my stroller" phase. The only thing that'll get her through a run the jogging stroller is lots of her favorite snacks. So there I am, running, while CK stuffs her face. It's pretty hypocritical, no?
Oh, andplusalso, CK is on both ear and eye drops right now. The bottles are almost the exact same, and yesterday I accidentally put her ear drops in her eyes and her eye drops in her ears.

Congrats to your sister!!! Baby shopping is soooo much fun! I don't think my sister will choose to have children for a while, but she's only 23.

When DH isn't home at night li doesn't get a bath... I hate doing it, so I don't give her messy food for dinner.
Same here. DH always does bathtime. It's their special time together, I say. It's so bad that DD associates the tub with MH. I took her into the bathroom with me the other night so I could change, and when she saw the tub, she bounced up and down and started yelling, "DADDY!!" over and over.
When DH isn't home at night li doesn't get a bath... I hate doing it, so I don't give her messy food for dinner.
I think that makes perfect sense. I like giving T her bath but I definitely plan her dinner based on the amount of mess it will make. If I know we can't give her a bath, or if I want the bath to be really short or whatever, I give her non-messy food.
Not only do I plan Alastair's dinners around messiness and DH's availability for baths, but I also plan it around Shadow's preference. You better believe that he is getting non messy Shadow favorites for dinner when I am alone.

I would love that, too! A friend of mine is due in April and was stressed out 'cause she doesn't have time to research everything before she registers. I sent her a LOOOOOONG email about baby products (at her request) and the research I'd done.

I would be excited about this too! Especially now, knowing what you really need. I was overwhelmed when I registered, but now I think it would be fun. Of course my sister would be registered for everything I liked and used with DD.
For various reasons, my friend canceled her OOT bachelorette party that we were supposed to have in the spring. Now we are doing one of the those bus bar-hopping things around this area. She keeps talking about how fun it's going to be, but it's so not my thing. I was looking forward to going to a relaxing girl's weekend away and am sad we're not doing the OOT party!

Sorry she's hating her stroller though. As long as you're not giving her chicken nuggets, chocolate, and french fries or something for all her snacks I don't think it's a huge deal. It's great that you can still get your run in.
Plus she's getting fresh air, which is great for her. I don't see anything wrong with it.
This past week, I have just felt utterly exhausted and when Tristen is having a not so great day, I put in a disney movie. I feel bad he's been watching more tv than I would normally let him, but I also don't have it in me right now to keep playing "pick up all of my toys so I can throw them on the ground and hear the noise they make" game.
I also said to hell with it after his 15 month check-up, and got Arby's for dinner. I also may never give him a bath again if he doesn't stop pooping in the tub!
DH is pissing me off. He's not home enough to know our schedule. So on our day off together this week, i tell him to get DS ready so we can leave for the store. I wanted some time to get myself ready. Getting DS ready does not mean putting him in an outfit without socks, shoes or a coat. It also means you prep the diaper bag with a change of clothes and snacks. Instead, i get to rush around like i always do, getting myself and ds ready. What is DH doing? Playing on his iPad.
At least he acknowledged that he doesn't know how i do it all.
On a positive note, I'm slimming down and took advice from my sister to check out the thrift store for a pair of jeans to transition to the next size down. Scored a pair of Seven's for only 14.

I got a laser hair removal system for Christmas. MH has been my spa assistant and zapping me. The first treatment we used a level 3, this last treatment I thought we should go to level 5 the highest. I literally jumped off the bed when he did my "tender womanly folds." It was like being snapped with a red hot electric rubber band. It left a nice red welt on the bits. I'm a trooper though and we turned it back down to a 3 and carried on. I'm shocked that it actually seems to be working too!
I had eyelash extensions for awhile but I got tired of paying $30 a month for the maintenance and going in and getting them touched up was such a time suck so I took them off. I missed them so I ordered a 20 pack of fake lashes off Amazon from China. They came in last night and I was so excited I brought them to work and put them on the (very public) bathroom. I must have looked crazy with my scissors and glue and eye makeup everywhere. My eyeballs will probably fall out but whatever, they look good.

I'm so pasty, I'm transparent. Which is great because when I shaved my
legs you could still see the hair under my skin. I know it sounds sexy
but it really is not.

I tried false eyelashes but I could not get them to look right, I felt like snuffleupagus when wearing them.

Do you have roadmap veins too?! I sure do. Advantage to being pale: my stretch marks blend into my skin tone.

Not so much with the veins(you can see them in my arms), but my stretch marks totally blend in.
I think L is ready to start potty training, or at least it would be a good idea to give it a shot and see what happens.. but honestly, I'm just too lazy to have to start something like that with her right now. I was actually ok with having 2 kids in diapers!
Also, while I was typing this out, L threw and entire bowl of Cheerios on the rug and continued to keep eating them off the rug filled with dog hairs. Yum.
My child has disgustingly long, monster toe nails. She will not let us come close to cutting them...she completely wigs out. I really wish I could take her to the vet and get her sedated like the dog. Good thing it's not sandal season!!
Hahaha!
L is the same way. I get nervous that I'm going to cut her toes or something. Sometimes I find it easier to cut them when she is tired, but even that is tough!
When DH isn't home at night li doesn't get a bath... I hate doing it, so I don't give her messy food for dinner.
I'm the same way. I had to give her a bath this week though, she was so messy/greasy I couldn't have her wait one more night for MH to do it. She didn't mind it so much, but holy crap, bending over a tub almost 7 months pregnant while trying to make sure L didn't fall (she refuses to sit nicely in the tub of course) was a workout!

Lol! You have to be careful when you buy them not to get huge thick ones or they feel and look super crazy. I used to have really long thick eyelashes but after I had E they started falling out and never grew back in as thick so most people don't notice that I'm wearing fake ones because they look like what mine used to look like.
Mine is just fun and silly, but I've decided that Fridays should be fun dressup days for T.nbsp; Today she's wearing a sparkly purple longsleeve onesie, black leggings with a puffy white skirt almost like a tutu over it, and a fun pink hoodie if she needs an extra layer.nbsp; She even has an extra sparkly barret with a flower on it today.nbsp; My girl is stylin'.nbsp;
This sounds awesome and may be instituted at my house.

At the time, I was heart broken, but now, not so much. I'm wondering what it'll take to have DH permanently in charge of baths.
In the early days, DH and I did Lily's baths together. Since she was a month or two old, DH has done them on his own. I've given Lily a bath probably less than 5 times while visiting my parents and I usually got my mom to help. It's a nice Daddy-daughter time, and it gives me a nice break.
DH has less time with Lily since starting his new teaching job, so I suggested he do bedtime most nights to get some extra cuddles. Before this, he would do bedtime 1-4 times a month. I kind of miss doing bedtime, but I'm also enjoying getting the break.
V is getting her upper molars right now, so she is being beastly. Yesterday she was whining constantly unless I was holding her until I handed her my travel mug. The lid was closed so it didn't seems like a big deal. Then I looked over and she had chocolate and coffee all over her face. (It wasn't hot.) She was actually in a good mood after that.
My Violet loves coffee.
I hardly ever give Violet a bath(1-2x a month) She takes showers, and has since her cord came off.

Sugar is a pain reliever. You should just feed her chocolate next time, less messy!
Lo is getting molars in and her mouth is so tiny that I actually thought she was getting 2 teeth in the same spot. Both sides of one of her molars are through but not the middle and one the side is pretty much in the roof of her mouth and only one little point is through and it looked like 2 different teeth. My SIL and I were holding her down the other day sticking our fingers in her mouth trying to decide if I needed to take her to a pedi dentist or not.

Same thing here. It's the weirdest thing. It seems like it probably hurts, too.
V hates showers. I tried to take her in the shower with me after the gym one day. Disaster. Maybe the sight of me naked is what scared her.
V usually goes in the shower w/ MH. He holds her. We started giving Audrey showers to try to keep her a wake when she was a baby, and had her days and nights mixed up. We found that showers were so much easier we vowed we were going to make this kid like them, and she loves them.
I was lurking on the married life board on GBCN. There was a thread where someone posted a link to a penis gallery. Where a bunch of men submit pics of there penis and stats about size and whatnot. Of course I had to look. I just spent the last 45 minutes looking through it. It was like a train wreck and I just couldn't stop myself. I have to say that I now realize I've been pretty fortunate in my penis exposure. There were quite a few horrifying looking members on there!
