Strange thought...

My MIL went into labor and delivered DH around this point in her pregnancy!  I often think it's amazing that he's alive, considering this was 30 years ago. 

Of course my sister tells me women in my family don't go into labor on their own, so this pregnancy also has the potential to go 42 weeks.

I know every baby is different, but it's strange to think that there's the potential for either extreme...

    Wow, that is amazing that your DH is here considering that it was 30 years ago and how less advanced it was then.  But, then again, my mom is 53 and she was born about 8 weeks premature, so that is pretty amazing too! 

    I hope for your sake that you don't go to 42 weeks!

    Wow, he is lucky to be here!

    I know what you mean though. I work with a kid at school who was born at 24 weeks.... for me,that's just 3 weeks away! It really makes you think, doesn't it?

    It's funny that you mentioned that - my MIL was born three weeks late (her poor mother!). Everyone talked about how she was easy to pick out in the nursery - she was the "old-looking" newborn!
