Hey ladies,
I don't post much here, but I do read all the posts. I have some AWing to do.
1) DS potty trained over winter break. Well, okay, full disclosure: he still wears a dipe at night. But during the day we're good. Today he said he needed to go during dinner, and then had the worst poop (sorry, tmi), and I was so.freaking.glad that it was in a toilet. This is seriously amazing.
2) We found out a few weeks ago that LO is a boy! Like last time, I was a bit disappointed, but I'm excited that DS gets a brother, and I really do love being a mommy to a boy. I just hope that someday I get to be a mommy to a girl, too.
Re: AW'ing it up in here
Congrats on your second little guy Very exciting!
Liam has been peeing and pooping on the potty for a couple months now but we haven't pushed it to full time...that's awesome you're out of diapers during the day! Having him poop on the potty is like a big gift knowing I don't have to wash a poopy diaper
growing a foosa
Those are great AW's! We actually just got the potty out this past weekend so we are probably behind on that. I just want to have him out of diapers before this next one comes along.
Congrats on the little boy! I'm sure they will be so cute together as brothers and best friends as they grow up
The potty training is awesome news and so are two little boys! Congratulations!
I haven't even started thinking about potty training at this point. DS#1 trained in about a week's time (full on poop in the potty, no diaper at night), but he was roughly 2 3/4. Although DS#2 is interested in the potty and has a lot of exposure to it given his older brother, IMO, he is still way too young to try and train. I'd rather wait longer until he is really ready so that training is a breeze. Sounds like you got best of both worlds

Baby Girl E - 2013
Yay to both AW's!! Very exciting. You will probably save money on boy's clothing if you saved from DS1.
Congratulations on hearing its a boy. Having the same sex children has major advantages (coming from a mom of 4 girls).
Potty trained? awesome, we held off starting with Olivia because of baby sisters arrival didn't want her to relapse.

Congrats on the poop-trained-tot! I am contemplating when to train DD#1, as I don't really wanna deal with it once DD#2 makes her arrival.
Having the same gender twice is a good thing on your wallet, right? That's what I am glad about having another girl. Of course, then ya get the comparisons and all that crap, but hey, theoretically they'll become best friends.
Thanks girls. DS didn't really give me a choice about the PTing. He was just done with those dipes. Actually the problem is that he yells about wearing one at night, but he's not waking up dry. New problem to figure out.
A second boy is growing on me. I kind of knew it in my heart, so it wasn't a surprise. If it's going to save me money, though, I'm going to have to stop buying him things here and there.
