soo, I've read a few mama's posts about different dreams they are having but never felt the urge to comment because i haven't had any interesting dreams myself, buuuut now.
Last weekend I think, this is the dream I had:
I had given birth to a girl (woke up in recovery in a hospital that Ive never been too; saw the Baby's name plate on her sleeping space by my bed and it said It's A Girl: Aimee May ----- ) A nurse came in and handed me my baby but when i looked down it wasn't a baby but a full grown bunny rabbit. I got the sudden urge to take a poop so I asked a nurse where the closest bathroom was, after putting my :bunny: in its bed. She told me all the bathrooms were in the basement and we were on the 4th floor, needless to say I got lost and woke up.
Last night I had a dream that I was breastfeeding a kitten, which freaked me out and I woke up.
Am I going insane or are these kind of dreams normal???? haha.
What are you dreaming about??
Re: What are you dreaming about?
I've had two cat/kitten birthing dreams, and one where I gave birth to a human (progress), walking around and saying mama and papa, around 1 year old. That baby was a completely different race.
If these dreams aren't normal, at least you aren't alone!
I've had lots of dreams about baby girls and they've been mostly about the poor baby not having a name, and H and I fighting over what to name her. I hope this baby is a boy, because I think my dreams are a good sign of what's to come if it's another girl, lol.
I've also had all sorts of wild sex dreams.
lol no! I just had a REALLY bad wedgie from rolling around I'm assuming lol.
I had a dream that started the same as yours... woke up in a hospital I didnt know... everyone was telling me how precious my baby boy was. I asked to see him, they wheeled in another bed... with a hairy adult male (maybe around 40) dressed in a diaper with a blanket. No one could understand why I was so mad and screaming that a 200 lb man didnt come out of me! Everyone else thought he was just the cutest little thing. Weird!!
OMG!! that is the best thing I've read all day! I think I might pee myself >.<
Hahahaha!! Your dreams are hilarious.
So far, any crazy dreams I've had have been sexual. I guess my subconscious is horny. Unfortunately my conscious, non-dreaming self is not. Poor DH.

LOL, I love it! I don't know if it is normal, but I am right there with you. When doing IVF, the dreams started once I started estrogen supplements. So I am just guessing that the rise in estrogen during pregnancy causes weird dreams.
Every night I have some ridiculous dream. Last night it was that my friend was selling cinnamon rolls in the shape of a squirrel. What the hell?
The night before, I had a dream that my sister-in-law was furious with me because I did her laundry. She was screaming at me for hours and hours in this dream. I woke up upset and in a sweat.
Early on, I dreamt that I delivered a puppy. I don't remember the details other than that I was carrying it around in a Chicco car seat.
We really should write them down for posterity. I both dread going to sleep and look forward to what wacky scenario will pop up tonight.
i agree.. lol i really find your dreams interesting, i had a double take moment with the cinnamon rolls in the shape of a squirrel! .. After posting this i decided to look up pregnancy dreams decoded, and it makes alot of sense! My first trimester I never thought twice about my dreams except that they were very vivid, but now that I think about it they were very intense, with people and friends dying, friends helping me and than betraying me, but I always came out on top at the end. I think my dreams are the only thing I look forward too, now that I can't sleep comfortably! lol.
And the cinnamon buns shaped as squirrels did me in.
This thread is made of awesome. :]
this lol
I've dreamt about being lost in a hospital I didn't know, too. Sex dreams on the reg, and there was something about Alec Baldwin the other night...
But here's the best one. I'm so glad I texted all this to my friend the other day, or I would have forgotten.
First, I was married to my best friend's boyfriend. But I cheated on him with an African-American girl in my grandmother's guest bathroom. (There was no graphic imagery here, just the concept was known to me.) So I tell Ian (my dream husband/friend's boyfriend) that I was running away with Bruce Willis, and I even had a picture of Bruce Willis in a wedding dress to prove it. I had the picture on my locker at the ski lodge. But the picture was actually of Burt Reynolds, big ass mustache and all, in a wedding dress. Then I found out Kris and Bruce Jenner were getting divorced, and I was devastated, and then I was 2 hours late for work at my old job at a nursing home because I couldn't decide which scrubs to wear. I ended up wearing my Catholic high school uniform skirt. Finally, two of the girls who were on the 10 year reunion committee with me (in real life) were living together and raising a baby together (in the dream).
When I woke up the next morning, DH immediately asked me what I dreamed about and told me I was wimpering in my sleep. But I think I figured out why there were two homosexual references in the dream. There's been speculation about Ian, the husband in my dream and my BFF's now fianc? in real life. He's kind of effeminate, and the night I had this dream, they got engaged. So maybe garbled friend ESP, mixed in with some sex and celebrities just for funsies
Umm..yeah. If people could see into my dreams they would think I needed to be committed.
Example: two nights ago I dreamed that I was hanging out with Justin Bieber and Halle Berry and they were a couple. I seem to have recurring dreams of hanging with celebrities like it's just normal - maybe I read too much People magazine and the like? I also dream about tornados a lot...very weird.

I also dreamed I was breastfeeding a kitten. I feel like I need therapy now.
I'm not new. I just hate The Bump.
