XP: Kaiser NT Scan

Hey ladies, just checking to see if any of you had an NT scan through Kaiser and whether it was the type where the tech tells you nothing or if its the type where the tech is able to chat us up?  I'm not sure if it would be center specific or if it would be company wide policies but I know some places are super strict and some are super relaxed about that type of stuff.  Any info appreciated!

 

If it matters, I'm having the scan done at International Circle in San Jose. 

EDD- July 24 RCS date ~7/18 pregnant

    I have no idea about that hospital, but I feel like the rule (at least in the two states that I've had pregnancy related u/s in) the techs can't say much about what they are actually looking for.  however, our techs have always told us what parts of the baby we were looking at and made nice small talk.  The doctor came in at the end of the NT scan and let us know lots of information.

    I have Kaiser. When we went in I got my blood work done first and then the ultrasound. The tech told me the measurements and that's it. We got a call two weeks later with the results.

    My Kaiser OB suggested I ask the tech specific questions. They don't volunteer information, but a lot of them will answer direct questions if you ask.
