Kinda stole this from parenting and september posts

Say sex hurting wasn't a factor... How often do you have sex? What is the longest you've gone without sex? (NON PREG/POST PREG, those sex breaks don't count). Just count your regular sex life.

I was oddly surprised by how often September moms were doing it! One even said if she doesn't get it daily she gets pissy. Who has the energy to have daily sex? I don't even think my dh would have the energy.

    I don't think we've ever gone more than a week, other than postpartum. Before we had 2u2, it was probably three times a week, now it's more like once every four to five days.

    I would say we average 1-2x a week for sex, and then a bj or two in addition.

    The longest we've gone without sex? Well I made him wait 5 weeks when we first started dating... But, we've had a couple of two week stretches with no sex over the course of 4 years. At one point we were both working 50 hrs, house hunting and wedding planning.

    Not counting pp, usually 3-4 times a week. Even through my whole pregnancy.

    i'd rather have sex than give a bj. then again small mouth and big gag reflux= disaster lol we are around everyother day if not almost everyday. Sex makes H happy and makes our lives easier when he has sex. :)

    Because of DH's work schedule and 2U2 we have been only having it 1x a week. The longest is probably 2 weeks.

    We usually have sex daily or every other. Its not because of the needs, its an emotional connection that we enjoy. The longest we have gone is probably a weekend without, due to being at family's house or something.

    Longest time without was maybe a week or two and that's only because H works OOT sometimes.

    I think part of this depends on age too. In general, the younger the DH, the more often the sex. Not saying that us girls don't have a say in it, but in the case that we aren't initiating, a 20 something DH is going to push for sex way more often than a 40 something DH, just as a matter of biology.

    My SDs live with us fulltime and have for a couple years now, and our sexcapades have decreased significantly since then. We used to do it every day or every other day, now I'm lucky to get it more than a couple times a week. Some weeks it doesn't even happen. We're lame.

    I suck in the sex dept. i truly just dont enjoy it most of the time. I will give 100 BJs just to get out of sex. Pathetic, I know. Before TTC we probably had sex once a week, occasionally an extra time thrown in there. I dont know if our marriage not being really happy makes the sex bad or if the sex being bad makes our marriage crappy.

    We do it about once a week on the weekends. Sometimes twice. Too tired after work most days. I am fine with the set up but I am sure DH wouldn't mind more. I could probably go almost indefinitely now without intercourse as long as I got cuddles from DH and had my vibrator.

    I thought once a week was pretty good after just having a baby a few months ago, lol. Leave it to this board to have some crazy high standards! Babies practically walking at 3 months old AND mommy having sex every day :)

    Wow, people are having sex daily PP??  How do they find the time?  I guess they're doing it when baby goes down for bed?

    We do it about once a week now.  It's tough because the LO is a terrible napper - only sleeping 10-15minutes at a time during the day.  And when he is down for the night, I am usually exhausted, even on weekends.

    Okay, I'll be the odd woman out. We have sex about 2x's a month. Sometimes only once. DH and I have been together for 12+ years and in the begining it was daily but we have settled into a routine that works for both of us. If anything I would be the wanting it more. Not counting pregnancy or post partum we have probably gone 6 weeks before.

    We were having sex probably 5 x a week before DD, now we're at 2x a week. I'm hella tiered all the time, annndd I'm not showering on the regular. But I'm a big fan of sex. Sex. Sex. Sex.

    Edit: The longest we've gone without has been the 4 weeks pp. And man was it hard.

    This, except my DH doesn't seem to care. Pre-baby we did it 2-3X weekly and we were both happy with that. Post baby, we haven't done it yet...

    We've done it twice since delivery, but I had to have my episiotomy redone at 3 weeks PP : the scar tissue still hurts...DH understands. Before baby it was 2x a week.
