Tonight is the first

The first night that Ava is sleeping in her crib. Up until now she has been in the RnP beside my bed with her arms swaddled. She is now in a sleep sack with arms free. She's been asleep for almost 2 hours but I'm obsessed with watching her on the video monitor.

I kept telling my H that she wasn't ready to transition to the crib, but I think I'm the one not ready. Insert sad face.
My H kept pushing for this and I finally gave in but I don't think I'll get much sleep tonight now.

  • I remember the feeling!!! She's been in her room for 2 months now and sometimes I still creep in for a look, since we only have an audio monitor. Be strong mama, you got this!!!

  • Austin has been in his crib for about two months now. The thing is I was NOT ready for him to be in the boy's room so i just put his crib in our bed room in his crib. Its really hard to move them over it really is. Cale was almost 8-9 months when he moved over to his room. I had a limit of 6 months with Austin but that is probably not goin to happen. Embarrassed

  • I felt terrible too the first night Anna was in her own room, but by the second night it was great! She slept fine, we had our bedroom back and I actually slept better without hearing her every little noise. I will say that the Angelcare monitor gave me a huge peace of mind though! GL!
