Did anyone drink raspberry leaf tea?

Just wondering if you feel it did anything for you. I took it with DS and I had a relatively quick labor 5.5 hours. I'm taking it again and hoping for similar results but wondering if I gave the raspberry tea credit for nothing or if drinking it actually helped me...

Thanks for sharing your experiences...

Re: Did anyone drink raspberry leaf tea?

  • I drank it during both pregnancies and had very short labors. My first was 9 hours from first contraction to birth with less than 4 hours of active labor and 3 pushes. My second was 2 1/2 hours with 2 hours of active labor and 2 pushes. I almost had a baby in the car with my second!

  • I drank it for both labors. My first labor was 25 hours with pitocin. My second labor was 21 hours as my body progressed on its own.

  • I didn't start drinking it until 36 weeks and was induced at 40w 4days for complications. My labor was 32 hours with pitocin, however I only pushed for about 35 minutes with my first. Who knows if it helped for that stage, but I'll drink it the next time around just in case.
