Teething and sleeping

My DS is cutting two teeth. He isn't fussy or anything but he seems to be taking longer naps. Today he napped for two hours. He woke up screaming. I assumed because he was hungry. He ate for maybe 10 minutes and fell back to sleep. I woke him once to eat some more but he went right back to sleep. So he has slept for almost another hour. Is it normal for babies to sleep more when teething?

DD has not teeth yet, but she does sleep more during growth spurts and 6 months is a big one.

I wish my son was like this! DS is finishing cutting 2 bottom teeth and he has been waking up 3 times a night....mama is tired!
