How far along are you? I go tomorrow for my first appointment and I was actually just discussing this possibility the other night since twins run in DH's family. Wasn't sure how early they are able to tell its twins...

I thought I was 7 weeks, I am actually 8.5 weeks according to the doctors, so it really is a super-storm Sandy baby.... Blush... I have twin brothers and Liam ( DH) has twin cousins so I guess its in our families too.
Blessed with double the love. C and J born May 2013

FYI, history of twins in your husband's family will have no effect on your chances for having twins. If your side of the family has a history of fraternal twins then you'd have a higher chances of producing twins (since there is a genetic link to ovulating more than one egg at once - this is all about the number of ovaries, not his sperm). And there is no known genetic link for producing identical twins.

Good to know - thank you.
