Double score!

DS had an appointment with the pedi today to follow up on his ER visit last weekend. It was my first day back at work, so DH said he'd take him. DH is wonderful, and is a fantastic father, but doesn't always remember details like times and things like that. He also hates to be nagged (see the potential for a problem here?).

I send him a text which included a subtle reminder about the dr appointment today, and never heard back, which made me concerned that he forgot. It took all the willpower I had to not call and check in, but it paid off! So score for both of us - DH for pulling through on the appointment, and me for not giving into my control-freak tendancies!
