I had a boys name set and had a few girl names but now that we found out we are having a girl, i pick a name i love it and the next day im over it. Did i mention im extremly indecisive. So below is a list of our name choices I want to narrow it down to atleast 5 hopefully 3 .. Both my husband and I come from a European background so we wanted something that was easily pronounced in English , italian and croatian and that flows well with out European last name. please help!
Alessandra
Madelyn
Madison
Mia
Emilie
Lia
Layla
ella
lilly

Alessandra- it's okay
Madelyn- okay
Madison- Like it
Mia- Like it
Emilie- I don't love it, but I don't hate it
Lia- I don't love it, but I don't hate it
Layla- I prefer Lylah
ella- I love it.
lilly- I like it a lot!
My favs on this list or Ella, Lilly, Mia, or Madison, but none of the names are awful
I would consider the name Lila/Lylah/ Lyla over the name Layla
I think Lila is beautiful
I actually like Alessandra. I know a teenage Alessandra from South America and it's a fitting name. FWIW I am not a fan of Alexandra/Alexis and feel it's over used but Alessandra definitely has a European flair.
I don't think any of the names are particularly bad. None of them make me want to throw up in my mouth except maybe Madelyn. I don't like it spelled that way whatsoever.
I do like Emilie a lot, and am also a fan of PP's suggestion of Amelia.
Alessandra: I love this name, probably because it is my kindergarten best friend's name. It's not too popular either.
Madelyn: Okay
Madison: Cute
Mia: I really like Mia!
Emilie: Not a fan.
Lia: I prefer Leah.
Layla: Okay
Ella: Love it but very popular.
Lilly: I've always had a soft spot for Lilly.
I like Alessandra. The Alessandra I know goes by Sasha.
Love Emily, but spelled this way.
Here would be my Top 4 from your list:
1. Alessandra -- my sorority sister's daughter is named this and I've loved it since. Her nn is Allie.
2. Emilie - however, not a big fan of this spelling ....
3. Madelyn - I'm trying to talk hubby into this one, but spelled Madeleine. I like the nn Maddy ...
4. Lilly
The rest are not my style ....

Exactly this. Aside from Alessandra, they're all so overused and played. Ugh.
Alessandra is refreshing. All of the other names are way too popular for me. If that doesn't bother you, cool, but I can't really offer an opinion other than that they bore me. Sorry.
Alessandra is definitely the best!
Alessandra - Like it.
Madelyn - I prefer Madeline.
Madison - Like it.
Mia - Love it!
Emilie - Hate it! I'd prefer Amelia or Emily.
Lia - Love it!
Layla - Like it.
Ella - Love it!
Lilly - Like it.
My favorites on your list are Mia, Lia, and Ella.
