LO is STILL waking about 3 times a night to eat. He maxes out at 3-4oz of formula per serving a day and will push and spit it out when he's done. During the day he only eats a total of about 16 oz. At night he'll wake every 3 hours to eat 3-4 oz then passes back out.
Am I alone in this? Or does anyone have suggestions? We are still working on the crib transition but it's so hard to keep him in his room when he wakes so many times at night and is way easier to keep him in ours.
Re: Anyone else still getting up a few times at night?
This is what I was thinking! His weight is perfect and we did switch to the faster flow nipples but he just doesn't like to eat that much. He can go for like 4 hours during the day without eating then will only have a sip of his bottle then nap. He'll refuse a bottle but will eat pureed veggies sometimes. I think he likes the interaction of spoon feeding better and might get "bored" with the bottle. I'll be bringing this up to the pedi!
Yep! DD wakes around 12am and 4am to eat, and very rarely will wake only once (3 am-ish). AND I'm pretty sure our "wakeful" nights are over, so hopefully it wont become more than this.
If he is fussy during the feedings make sure to bring him to the pedi. That was the only symptom my LO had and turns out he has a raging double ear infection. You would never know it because he is so smiley except for when you try to feed him.
Does getting up 6 times a night count??
ds drinks an insane amount still at night too.... usually about 15oz
~after 34 cycles we finally got our 2nd little bundle of joy~

My IF blog
I should know better than to open threads like this because they just depress me. I would LOVE to only be up 2-3 times/night
I think I've read every sleep book on the market. Sigh.
