ibuprofen or tylonol

Hi, we have a sick little baby :( He has a low grade temp for the second day, 99.4

He also has stuffy nose and is irritable. He wants to be held all day and only slept last night when I was holding him (rough night in our house last night)! Do you guys prefer mortin or tylonol for you kiddies? LO is 5 1/2 months, Ive been giving tylonol but thinking about giving motrin instead.

I called pedi to see if he should be seem, they said to wait a couple o days to see if he improves. Thanks

    i do tylenol b/c its gentler on tummies.

    I've been giving Tylenol if the fever is more than just a low grade. DS is six months and started cutting his top two teeth on top of an ear infection. I moved on to ibprofen because the Tylenol was not helping at all. He was so uncomfortable. I do the lowest recommended dosage and he is much happier after it kicks in and I can tell when it's wearing off.
