Diaper changes flying

I haven't ventured out a lot but when you go out to eat, out shopping, mall, etc where do you change your LO's diaper? Are there changing tables in all restrooms? Do you go back to your car?

Also, we will be flying for the first time and is there a changing table in the airplane bathroom? Any other flying tips?

    When i'm out i normally change LO's diaper in the car. Not all restrooms have changing tables, so i either do it on the floor or if possible go back to the car. No experience flying yet, but i'm pretty sure the bathrooms on the plane do not have space for a changing table. My advice would be to change it before they start to board the plane.

    My uncle flies a ton for work and says people change the baby on the tray table. SO GROSS. Think about that the next time you are eating on a plane. The trays are not disinfected after every flight. I guess I would try the teeny tiny bathroom.

    Please do not change your baby on the tray table. It really depends on the airline and airplanes. I'm a flight attendant and my airline has changing tables that fold down in all the bathrooms. It's right behind the toilet seat. Make sure to feed baby either breast or bottle on take off/landing. Babies will need to be swallowing to regulate the pressure in their ears at these times. Oh and please don't leave dirty diaper in seat back pocket or under the seat... It's not fun to find. I put mine in an extra bag and they go in the lavatory trash. Other than that, have a good flight!

    I've flown with lo five times and our flight always had a changing table that pulls down in the bathroom.

    Also I can't remember a restaurant that didn't have a changing table somewhere in their bathroom.
