Hi everyone! I'm sure a post has been started like this before but my favorite thing about this board is knowing we're never alone. How is everyone feeling as we're hitting the final stretch and what is everyone's body doing and how are you coping with it?
I've been having terrible back pain when laying or sitting so we've been doing long walks and stretching to stay active and have incredibly thirsty. I'm drinking about 100 ounces of fluid a day, cut off at 9 pm and am still peeing 4 times a night. Swelling has been okay but days that we're outside longer is evident in my feet and fingers (adding all the water contributes).
ETA: Also I don't know if I'm even feeling Braxton Hicks. I feel like everyone is able to sense their contractions but I don't know if I've ever had one or felt one? I'm pretty in tune with my body so I don't know if maybe I'm confusing it with movement?
Re: How is everyone feeling? or WHAT is everyone feeling?
I'm good and the only complaint I have is I am tired of being stationary. I get BH every time I walk more than a half mile. I'm sure it's nothing but I always turn around when they start. For some reason swimming doesn't cause them so I am still doing that.
I also have a hard time getting comfortable unless I am in bed so I've been getting into bed super early even if sleep isn't happening. No swelling to speak of. No heartburn. No return of morning sickness. Although I know now that I've mentioned it, it'll hit me tonight.
I get acid reflux, but it's not heartburn - it's further up in my throat. Also, I get a sore spot from where LO head butts me when she moves, and sore ribs from her feet combined with my rib cage expanding. I have to switch sides during the night a lot so that my hips don't get sore. That's it, though, so not bad.
(Well, except for my continuing slow leak of amniotic fluid, but that is a given at this point.)

Generally feeling pretty good. I get tired really fast and LO loves shoving his feet into my ribs, but he's moving a lot so I know he's good and healthy and can't complain. I'm also VERY thirsty and drink about 100oz a day.
I don't know about the BH though. I seem to feel the same way you are feeling, especially when it comes to the walking, and I don't know if that's BH or just him moving into a new position and sticking his butt out or not.
Quite a bit more of menstrual like cramping today, distracting and kind of painful. Guessing I was/am a bit dehydrated.
Not too bad overall actually. My contractions/BH's have pretty much stopped in the last 4-6 weeks, which is great. Even though I'm able to exercise again, I haven't had nearly the time for it, which is evident by looking at my ankles by the late afternoon. But other than the sore feet and occasional sore back (if I'm on my feet an excessive amount), I feel OK. I keep my indigestion in check with a zantac in the afternoon/evening, and I sleep pretty well considering I'm almost 34w. only wake up a few times and I usually don't need to get up and pee.
We are going on a family vacation on Sunday, and since the very start of all my BH's/contractions way back at 14w, we didn't know if I would be able to go. But since things have (strangely) settled down, I'm in the clear and looking forward to a little relaxing!!

I DON'T FEEL THEM EITHER! lol I was told my "menstral like cramps" must be my version of braxton hicks! It's crazy, I have a few friends that are pregnant, and they all say its like a tightening in your abdomen that you can literally see! I don't see it! When I do, I'm like "oh Zoey's just movin' around again! Man she's cramped in there!" haha, I'm feeling pretty great, I have had swelling twice now from the heat, but we don't have THAT much heat here in Seattle, its been more humid, which is odd. Our seasons are all off right now, we just started the sunny weather, and I'm trying to work on my tan! I have pelvic pressure here and there, mostly getting up from sleeping to pee in the middle of the night, some minor back pain from working (I work with kids and have been having fussy infants come in that like to sit face forward and not let me sit down...lol). Just moved into a house, so I'm supposed to be taking it easy, but I've been going crazy on her nursery, I'm almost done with it, but man its tiring to not take naps lately. I was taking naps every day for at least an hour until we started closing on our house a couple of weeks ago. GL to you!
