At my 12 week NT scan I was told I have an anterior placenta and it is currently really low, covering my cervix. They think this is why I have been spotting and passing blood clots. Right now I am on pelvic rest and no exercise until my 20 week ultrasound. They think it will migrate up.
Has anyone else had any experience with a low lying anterior placenta and care to share? Did you consistently spot? Also, when did you start to feel movement? I felt flutters at 16 weeks with DD and movement by 19 weeks. I know this will take longer with the position of the placenta.
Thanks!

Just keep swimming.
I have an anterior placenta too. Mine wasn't low lying so didn't have any spotting, so I have no advice there, but I can tell you that I didn't really feel movement until 20 weeks....and then there were no "flutters" it was more like "thumps"!
This almost verbatim. I'm pretty sure I felt something this past Monday and more certain of movement on Tuesday (three thumps). It's very light and infrequent still (so much so that I often doubt what I'm feeling) but am excited to feel anything.
