Me neither. And to be honest I probably won't think about it much until February. I planned DD's 1st b-day in under a month and am happy with how it turned out so I doubt I will start any earlier with DS. I don't tend to go crazy with parties though.
Trying to figure this out. I would do just us and maybe if grandparents wanted to come by but DH's side tends to have parties for everything and I'm tired of us never doing that and then feeling left out of some. I just don't want to spend too much but we live in an apt so can't have EVERYONE there.
I plan on starting to plan after the new year. We've talked about doing a Minnie Mouse theme since DH and I love disney and just got back from vacation there last week. We will do a party at our house and invite family and close friends, which will end up being lots of people since my ILs both come from huge families.

I am doing a small party at our house. We plan to invite about 30 adults and 6 kids. I doubt they will all come so it should be a managable size. The theme is going to be fishing. There are so many cute ideas for this theme and it should be easy to pull off. I think I might start buying stuff for the party soon. Just to spread out the cost. It shouldn't be too much but still...
right now I am in baptism planning mode....its on jan 20th...we're having a big event guest count is at 120 so far with few rsvp's left and a bunch to do!
No idea for 1st birthday yet but I want to do a "One in a Flash" theme
We are doing a nautical/sailor type theme too. Captain Kellen. We will have the party at our house hopefully in the backyard weather permitting. We will invite about 80 people but the party will prob be closer to 50.
We are planning on doing a Mickey/Minnie themed party... I have already been on ETSY looking at all sorts of things! We are going to have a party at our house with family and a few close friends. I can't believe how fast this has come up already!
I "think" I am going to rent out the fellowship hall at my church (it is like $25) and have her party there, my house is just not big enough to host alot of people, not to mention her birthday is March 13th, so the weather will probably not be good. I have always called her my little angel, and I seen that Party City has some cute Little Angel 1st birthday party stuff, or maybe seasame street, still deciding. I think I may do just cup cakes maybe do 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 vanilla, and get her little cake, as for the time and what to serve I am still undecided.
We're keeping it to grandparents and aunts/uncles/cousins. So we'll have 9 adults and 4 children invited. I'm not sure if we'll do a theme, but a catalog came in the mail, and I was intrigued by this one:
My brother got one of those vinyl signs for each of his kids but picked one that wasn't too babyish so that they could use it for several years. They just have a generic "Happy Birthday, ____!" on them. It makes for nice pictures over the years.
We're having it a small hall, my guest list is at 90 and I think that is where it's going to stay at... We're having a Yankee theme with a touch of Mickey Mouse.. He loves Mickey... I'm going to have Mickey come and entertain the kids
I haven't given it too much thought yet. We will probably have it at our house or the nearby park with close family and friends like we did for DD1. I have a lot more mom friends from my moms-groups that we do play dates and things with, so the hard part will be deciding which ones to invite.
Our townhouse is small, and not good for company. I wish the weather was going to be warm enough, but I doubt it! So, we'll have it here and hope not everyone can come! haha. As for theme, I'm thinking "Very Hungry Caterpillar." There's so really cute foods and easy decorations on Pintrest.

DD loves Elmo, so we are doing an Elmo and Abby party (I think). It might be more fun to do it next year though when she is a little older and understands more. Also, I only wanted to do family and close friends, but that seems like a lot of people so now I'm a little stressed. We live in a small townhouse and can comfortably fit 8 people. It looks like it will be more like 25! Ugh! Also, my MIL invited her sister and her sisters granddaughter already!
