Just wondering what you all are doing with bibs right now... For eating, are you using the ones with the catching pocket thingy, or still using plain fabric ones? Also, I've been noticing that A's bibs are starting to have that musty smell, from sitting wet for too long. When he first started eating solids, we'd throw them in his laundry with food on them, then I noticed his room was starting to smell from it, so we started rinsing out the bibs, and then, since they were wet, using them to clean his face. I do let them dry on the side of his hamper, but we're still getting that musty smell, and it's not coming out totally after being washed. Any tips for getting it out? And if you don't use wet bibs for face/hand cleaning what do you use? DH is wary of using wipes on his face (I don't really understand why) and wet paper towels seem so scratchy!
Re: Bib Questions
We also use plastic bibs with the pocket although I don't think the pocket really ever catches anything. I like the plastic better because it keeps his clothes dryer when he makes a mess with the sippy.
We got this same basic bib at Ikea in a pack with a suction bowl, spoon, and a sippy for $2.99. Amazing.

I had some plastic ones from Target that I liked at first, but then I just couldn't get them clean and they had that musty smell (you couldn't machine wash them). I looked on amazon and got these https://www.amazon.com/Bumkins-3-Pack-Waterproof-SuperBib/dp/B000XPWXK2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1356807660&sr=8-1&keywords=bumkins and I absolutely love them. They are super cute, soft and machine washable.
I use wet paper towels to clean her face. She hates getting her face or nose wiped no matter what I use!

To help with the musty smell, toss some vinegar in when you wash it. I use about a half cup for a big load of laundry. Works great! I also use it with towels. :0]

I honestly have no idea how it will hold up over time. But for the price of the other one (not that it's completely outrageous, but it is more), I can get 4 of these entire sets including the bib, so it's worth the risk to me even if I eventually have to replace it. Plus, it's cute little frog.
We don't use bibs.
And I ditto Lancy, pour a little vinegar in with the clothes to get the musty smell out.
