Anyone else feeling worse the closer they get to 2nd tri? I started out with severe abomdinal pain after eating pretty much anything. My primary put me on meds and referred me to a GI doctor (next week) and the pain is somewhat better and I can tolerate more food without pain. BUT... I am now dry heaving and/or nauseous almost constantly, more tired and more constipated. My Senna and Colace is no longer working and I feel like an irritible, miserable B- all the time. Neither of my last 2 pregnancies were anything like this. Maybe it's a boy...

Re: Feeling worse, not better
Sadly, some women never get a break. One of my friends in my mom group was throwing up the entire pregnancy and had trouble gaining weight. She was miserable the entire time. I really hope this isn't the case for anyone here.
I am actually feeling tiny bits better, but every time I think I'm doing great I have one really bad day and night. We just have to ride it out.

Maybe it is a boy!
I had m/s months 3-5 with DS1 and months 2-5 with DS2. I am wondering if this one is a girl since I have only physically heaved 5x so far, mostly when I was off my normal routine. I never took any meds with my pregnancies, but I hope your drs can give you something to give you some relief soon.
I was constipated until Christmas day from the zofran, felt ok on Christmas, and since then have been pretty icky. I ate a full meal On Christmas, too!!
I am not too hopeful it will disappear any time soon. My mom and one of my sisters were both sick their entire pregnancies. My mom never gained more than 17 pounds with any of us! My sister was a labor and delivery nurse and often worked with her own doctor. He would hook her up to IVs at work. Zofran wasn't an option at the time!
