Whining!

LO is 7.5 months old, and it seems he has recently discovered how to whine. Pretty much anything that has come out of his mouth since Christmas has been in a whiny tone. Anyone else go through this? I am hoping it's just a phase. We are trying to not react to it, so he gets the hint that it isn't getting him anywhere. He also seems to be having a growth spurt- eating like a horse and sleeping a lot. Maybe it has to do with that too? He gained almost a pound and a half in 2 weeks! Anyway someone please tell me this whining phase is going to pass...

    Wow, my son is 7.5 months too - and I swear, he whines and cries all day long. Nothing wrong! Just whines. I totally understand. I'm honestly glad someone else is going through this, though it's no fun. 

    I've been trying not to give in to it at all either- it's tough though! He crawls after me wherever I go, and grabs my pant legs and whines and whines. If I do one thing, it's like the end of the world!

     I definitely think he's either growing a ton, or maybe getting another tooth? or maybe it's just a milestone thing. He has done so much over the past month, it's insane! (crawling, sitting up, sitting on his knees, trying new foods, etc.) and his sleep patterns are awful as well. You never know with babies.

    Just know you're not alone!
