2 under 2 makes me scared to have sex

So DH decided tonight that we should have sex for the first time since DD was born.  I keep reading about all these 2 under 2s here on the board and I told him I was okay if we didn't.  I refuse to take the pill and risk loss of supply and his idea to just pull out makes me nervous.  I guess eventually I will have to give in....

    You waited six months!  Holy molly!  Both DH and I were going nuts after six weeks.

    It's highly unlikely that the minipill would affect your supply.. but like pp said, there are condoms, spermicide, the little film things you place up against your cervix... Maybe it's just me, but sex is such an important part of marriage and keeping your relationship intimate, I can't imagine going anywhere near that long w/out that connection w/ DH!!

    Have you thought about mirena? I have it and it's great, no taking pills everyday and no worries!

    You waited almost 7 months to have sex?  I think I would have clawed my eyes out.  But I admire your restraint.

    Use condoms.  That's what we're doing.  I refuse to go back on the pill because it kills my sex drive and IUDs aren't covered by my insurance.

    And there was a girl who posted a night or so ago who got pregnant on the mini pill while EBF.

    I think DH would have died if he had to wait 6 months.  He couldn't stop talking about sex for the 6 weeks after DS was born, it was making my baby blues worse for me.  After I spent an entire shower bawling my eyes out, I banned him from talking about sex because he was stressing me out so much and HE STILL COULDN'T STOP TALKING ABOUT SEX!!!  Gah!  I know he was going crazy, but c'mon, exert a little self control so your wife can quit crying because she can't have sex with and because even if she could have sex, she just doesn't feel up to it!!!

    I'm with the girls that it would be hard to be away from that connection from DH for that long. Also, we tried for three months to get pregnant with this new baby. This was not unintentional.

    Nothing is 100% other than abstaining, but maybe you could combine a few options?
