Is anyone only swelling in one foot/ankle/leg?
My left will swell but will go down at night or in a recliner for a few hours. My right is so bad that it never goes down to the point of numbness... I've just never heard of pregnant women struggling with just one side.
Anyone using compression socks? If so, I'd appreciate a rec!

Re: Swelling...
My right foot swells worth than my left, frequently. My left foot will go down, but my right rarely does, even after a night's sleep. I thought maybe it was because I have damaged that foot more often (sprains and breaks) and is more prone to swelling anyway.
I didn't mess with compression socks. My dr. said my swelling wasn't bad enough to mess with them. He didn't even have me get them when I flew over Thanksgiving break. I do know that they sell some at Walgreens though.

This happened to me last week, and I read to call the doctor if it happens (because can indicate clot in a leg). They were SO NOT concerned about this, they said if I had a blood clot I would have lots more symptoms (numbness and cold, discolored legs). I drank a lot of water and kept my legs elevated as much as I could, and my legs were back to normal after a few days.
I haven't had to resort to compression socks this pregnancy, so I can't offer any advice there.
