I got kicked in the vag...

well, not really but I feel like someone put on steel toed boots and gave me a swift kick in the vagina.  It's horrible.  I don't remember this feeling this early with my son.  Anyone else having this issue?  I feel good when I am sitting down, but when I get up it is super sore.

I tried to google this, but everyone says they felt this way at 30 plus weeks and it was from ligaments spreading and prepping for child birth.  I'm no where near 30 weeks.  Sometimes I hate google :)

Re: I got kicked in the vag...

  • I don't remember when it started, but I had it at least half of my first pregnancy. It's not lightning crotch (not like a zapping feeling), just like you pulled a muscle or have a gigantic bruise, right?

So glad I don't have it this time...yet.

I don't remember what the doctor said it was, but (sorry to say) it never went away. I waddled pretty early just because it hurt to walk.

  • Google doesn't know everything! I have had "kicked in the crotch" vag pain for the past 2 weeks.

  • Yep, not lightning crotch.  I've had that a couple of times already too. It's like a GIANT bruise feeling.

And thank GOD google doesn't know everything :)  LOL

But, I don't want to waddle early.  Hopefully this too shall pass.

  • Yes, I've got the same issue off and on and definitely didn't feel this way with dd until the end. It's awful!

  • I've been having this feeling too. I'm not sure if there's anything I can do about, but I'll probably ask my OB about it when I see her next month.

  • Google Pelvic Girdle Pain. This is my guess for myself. Ya, it sucks.

  • Yep, I've got it. It hurts like a b!tch! I don't remember having it last time until much later in my pregnancy, towards the end, so it really sucks that I have it so soon this time around. I do waddle already when it is hurting. I feel it not only when I'm walking, but anytime I move whether it's rolling over in bed, changing sitting positions, bending over, etc. Definitely mentioning it to my doc on Thursday. She probably can't do much for me, but maybe she can suggest some ways to make it feel better.
