i am going to be two weeks out from birth of my daughter on tuesday 12/25/12. the pain is still very much there for me,is anyone else experincing this? even things like getting up and down hurt if done to fast, i can only sleep on my back right now too.
Re: c-section recovery
just make sure you stay on top of your pain meds - they prescribe them for a reason. take tylenol and advil combo
it was major surgery - i'd say it'll be 3/4 weeks before you start feeling kinda normal
I'd say I was back to normal pretty quick however I still get a pain on my left side when I stretch or twist and I'm 9 wks out.
nothing bad, but I can tell.
I think for everyone it's a little different. For me at 2 weeks PP I probably shouldn't have but I was doing laundry and sweeping the house, but I also could totally still tell when I overdid it, or when I moved the wrong way.
Now at 6 weeks, I still sometimes feel "bruised" in the general area of my incision, but overall, I feel totally normal again, even went running (even though it was slow), just take it one day at a time, and you will be back to normal before you know it.
