Battery Symbol Flashing: Medela Freestyle

This morning my battery started flashing on my freestyle.  I use it all week long and it only goes down 1 power bar of the 3 bars and I plug it in every Sunday night. The symbol started flashing while I was using it, so I plugged it in after using it and then it started flashing 'BATT'.  My husband took the battery out and put it back in to try to reset it.  I'm pumping now, the pump is working, but the symbol is still flashing.

Has anyone had this?  I hope it's not dying!

    I'm not sure when the battery was taken out, from your text, but:  once you take the battery out, you have to either run it down all the way, or charge it for 24 hours. Someone on here told me that... I try never to take the battery out now.
