Low lying placenta

Anyone have this? 14 weeks and they said I have alow ting placenta.  Doctor said it usually will correct itself, but now I can't help but worry! My first 2 babies I had no problem! Also, keep hearing things on if I should or should not work out. Thoughts?

    That's usually called Placenta Previa. I have partial placenta previa, and the OB said it should, as most do, correct itself. I'm actually going back tomorrow to see if it did correct itself. She told me that there was no cause for concern unless I was further in my pregnancy.

    I have an anterior low lying placenta. Dr said it might move up but for now I can't have sex or put anything into my vagina. I also have to watch lifting heavy things. I found out at my u/s at 12 weeks. My next appt is the 27th so I am hoping they will check to see if it has moved or not. I did not have it with any of my previous pregnancies so it was kind of a shock to hear about it this time.

    I just found out I have it too. Hopefully it corrects itself, apparently most of them do.

    I was diagnosed with this at 12 weeks. Dr. wasn't too concerned, but did put me on pelvic rest and I was told not to lift heavy things. I was also told that it usually moves up on it's own so I'm not worried yet, just taking it easy.

    This is very common.... Worse case senecio if it doesn't correct you have a csection... Which I don't want but if it comes down to it I have no choice. No point in worrying about something we can't do anything about. I'm sure it will be fine

    I had placenta previa with dd for a few weeks. It eventually moved and everything was fine.

    I just found out that I have marginal placenta previa as well.  Hoping it corrects itself by our 20 week scan.  I had a c-section with my first and was really hoping to have a VBAC this time, so hearing this news made me a little worried.  I was also told it can correct itself.
