I think Gus is cute!! I could never use it with our last name, but I like it!!
We will find out, but our appointment for the A/S isn't until 2/11. I have had my girl name picked out forever (since I was a little girl who had a doll by this name), and thankfully DH is on board with it. Meredith Blair (Blair is my middle name). For a boy, we have it down to several names, but nothing set in stone.
We don't know the sex yet, hopefully we'll find out late January.
For a boy, FI loves Sheldon Oliver. I'm still undecided about Sheldon, i'd rather go with Oliver for the first name but we're trying to stick with S names for the first name. And our last name starts with L, so the babies initials will be SOL...
For a girl, we both love Sophia Arlene. Arlene is my and my grandma's middle name.
I LOVE the name Gus!! It was my grandpa's name!

Nope. Too early for us. Maybe when we get further along we'll start thinking about names.
We don't know what we're having yet (will find out in Jan.), but we've decided not to discuss names until we find out the sex. (We had some monumental arguments trying to come up with DDs name).
Since this will be our last LO, we have decided pass on our middle names, so a boy will be ________ Chase, and if it's a girl it will be ________ Jane.

Girl: Sophia Beverly or Emma Beverly middle name after my grandmother
Boy: Parker Lawrence
We will find out but not until Feb 8th (20 week appt) unless I do an elective before then.
BUT we do have both names.
Grant Venable--Grandfathers middle name is Venable--but he went by it as his first name. We're probably...80% sure that we'll stick w/ Venable.
Audrey Nottingham--Grandmothers first name is Audrey, and my great grandmothers last name is Nottingham, and its also mine and my mothers middle name.
2nd choice for a girl is Lucy, but I can cross that bridge when I have a 2nd daughter!! DH likes Garrett for a boy, and I do like the name as well, but its just more common and I like names that I've never/rarely heard.
That was an obnoxiously long answer.
We're team green, but we have decided... although I'm superstitious so I'm not going to share them until the baby has their bris or naming.
Our baby will be named after my father-in-law if it's a boy or my mother if it's a girl (Jewish naming traditions are to name after relatives who have passed... it's been a rough year -- we're using the same first letter in both cases). The middle name will be the same first letter as my grandma's name, either boy or girl.

We are Team Green (for now, haha). I am NOT a patient person so how I let DH convince me to be Team Green is beyond me. Plus, my BFF is a sonographer so I could go get a sonogram any time I wanted to see the baby/ find out the sex. It's killing me!
Girl: This has already been decided for like 3 years- DH didn't even have a say in the name whatsoever: Charlotte Jane.
Boy: We're having a much harder time with this, but DH is getting pretty set on Graham Thomas.
Declan was our second pick for a boys name.

Those are the top two contenders... but if and when the baby is born and the name doesn't fit... we have back-ups!
This is my favorite boy name, as well! I suggested August nn Gus to my husband and he laughed because he seriously thought I was joking. It's going to be a LONG battle for us if it is a boy!
1. Find out Feb 6th
2. William...for the middle name.. maybe Alexander or Nicholas or Thomas...we're not sure yet.
3. Abigail....middle name. maybe Sophia, Joy, Hope, Laura(or laurel) or Zoe. Not sure there either.
