Trying to Get Pregnant

Can't quite believe it's BFP!

I'd mentioned yesterday in 2WW that I had a squinter of a line on a Wondfo, all I had in the house, and the store last night only had Clear Blues and digi FRER, so I grabbed the digi.  I tossed and turned all night just thinking about testing, so didn't trust the higher temp, but the YES+ on the digi is perfectly clear!  Knowing digi tests are slightly less sensitive makes it seem all the more real, especially after the Wondfo squinters, you really feel like it's in your head when you have to work so hard to see that line. But I can't help thinking there's still some mistake, like the digi will change to a finger and yell 'Haha, gotcha!'  Yeah, I know, I'm weird! ;)

Timing: O-5, O-3, O-2, would have tried for more sex closer to or on O but DH was sick. Today is 13DPO, period was due yesterday; I even had a huge temp dip on 8DPO, I guess now I can consider that to be implantation?

What we did:  I wanted to try to lengthen my LP and/or not spot so much, so I started drinking red raspberry leaf tea and taking B6 as recommended by my pharmacist, , and I even tried the pineapple core thing right after O. I guess something worked, because I didn't start spotting until 7DPO (previous cycles I started on 3DPO), and it was much lighter until the last few days.

EDD: Aug. 29, just under two weeks before my 40th birthday! Man I feel old...

Symptoms:  Nothing beyond what I normally get post-O - sore boobs, cramping, etc.

How I'll tell DH: He's on graveyard shifts so wasn't here to witness the squealing and crying that went on...which also meant I didn't just run over and shove the stick in his face as I might have if he were here! I'm terrible at keeping secrets but I want to wait to let him know on Christmas Day with a gift.  I bought a little onesie and will be getting it silkscreened with something like 'Daddy's Little Hobbit'...we're huge LotR fans, and it would match the subtle LotR theme we used for our wedding. Luckily beyond me telling him when it's FW and go-time, he really doesn't know or ask about where I'm at with my cycle, so he shouldn't notice the extra week!

I know everyone says this, but this board really is an amazing place and you all have taught me so much about everything TTC! I checked out so many other boards before this one, and none of them had even half the knowledge and expertise that I found here. Your mix of caring, no-nonsense approach and sense of humour were just what I needed, give me straight-up, straight-forward and some snark any day of the week! Thank you thank you THANK YOU!

ETA So sorry for the long ramble
