We stopped using protection in Dec 2011 and started trying in earnest in March 2012. I have two wonderful children from a previous marriage and my husband has none. A couple months ago, he tested with low sperm count. We are eager to welcome a child into our lives, but could use some support from other families in a similar situation. Thank you.

    Good luck to you! My husband (39 yo) and I (37 yo) married this past April 2012 and have been ttc since September but nothing yet.  He also has low sperm count and varicocele.  We are meeting with a fertility specialist and a genetic counselor in January 2013. We are eager to learn what, if anything, is impeding our changes of ttc.  Best of luck to you...keep us posted!

    We've only been trying since August, and haven't had any testing so we're not in quite the same boat as you, but we are similar in age (hubby 40, me 39) and I just wanted to say welcome and best of luck!

    BFP 12/19/12: Ectopic discovered at 8 weeks, right tube removed 01/18/13
    June 2013 Testing Results: Progesterone: 31.7, LH: 5, FSH: 5, Estradiol: 161
    Clomid cycles Nov. 2013 and Jan, Feb, and March 2014

    Welcome to the board!
    Me 39 & suspected PCOS, DH 42. Went off BCP when we got married in 11/11, seriously TTC since 3/12.  Six cycles of clomid = BFNs.  Suspected endometriosis & HSG showed both tubes blocked.  Sept 2013 IVF 5D transfer of two perfect embryos = BFN.  Started acupuncture and taking time off to drop some pounds & get healthier before FET in April 2014.

    My beloved aunt who is almost reaching her non- child bearing age and who has PCOS just had a baby . and is trying to get pregnant again. (yes, again!!!) After so much money spent on the docs and fertility drugs (that failed her many times) she ended up buying an instant ebook that helped her get pregnant naturally. I only know how well it works because she told me that within 2 months she was already pregnant. NO Fertility DRUGS!!!! Which then made my sister who is 27 with PCOS also buy the book . Low and behold within 2 months she was also pregnant! 

    She used many techniques the book describes and it got her the BFP+ she was hoping for. So maybe it may work for you.

    Wishing you the best of luck! In a somewhat similar situation as I will be 38 here shortly and DH is 36. Have been trying since March 2012 with no luck either. Pretty new to all of this and 1st IF appt is next week. Keep chins up! (PS broke into tears this AM while on phone with IF nurse about appt - hello hormones! wow.)
