Thoughts, Questions, Chart Stalk Requests, Etc: I am trying to be hopeful but realistic. If it's negative or CD1 starts tomorrow, at least I can have a drink or two with friends tomorrow night. That's the way I'm trying to look at it.

I have two favorites. One is a small local authentic Mediterranean restaurant called Sinbad's. The other one is a Jean-Georges restaurant in Manhattan called Spice Market. It's Southeast Asian style, inspired by street food vendors (but definitely NOT how I imagine street food). That one is probably my absolute favorite, but it's expensive and we only go about once or twice a year. The other one is close to us and inexpensive, so we go once or twice a month.

GTKY: What is your favorite restaurant? (If it's a local place, tell us about it.) There is a restaurant in Halifax, Nova Scotia called Opas (but they since changed their name to Ela) that we went to when we were there on vacation. Best meal we ever had!!

Thoughts, Questions, Chart Stalk Requests, Etc: First month charting/temping/OPK. I think I have figured O day based on my temps so far. Still early, so not sure. Had some serious financial/car stress during FW, so who knows what happened in there.
GTKY: What is your favorite restaurant? (If it's a local place, tell us about it.) My most favorite restaurant EVER is Hot Stuff, in London. We visited it this past May while on vacation. Tiny Indian place, the owner's mother is the chef. Yum, yum, yum! Locally, a classy burger joint called Max Burger which has great gourmet burgers and great beer selection.

It's a local place. It's called Flo's (which I think is dumb; it used to be Florentine's; Flo's just sounds kind of trashy). They have lots of pasta dishes and I love pasta!

Timing: That depends on if I believe FF or not. If I believe the O date FF gave me, our timing is complete crap since hubs was sick.
Testing Plans: I will probably test tomorrow, simply because I don't believe FF this cycle and I think I O'd earlier than it's giving me. I will probably test every couple of days.
Thoughts, Questions, Chart Stalk Requests, Etc: Maybe a chart stalk? I know my chart is kinda jacked up this month, but I don't know that I believe FF on my O date. I think I O'd on CD 17

They aren't strictly local, but I know they don't have a lot of restaurants. They are a bison meat restaurant and so so so so delicious.CD/DPO: 27 and 12dpo

It's not that big but they have really incredible and authentic food. Hopefully I was just wrong on my CP yesterday since it wasn't the same time as usual. I'm wondering if I actually Oed, this cycle is looking similar to last cycle where I got cross hairs around the same day. Then they changed, and then I didn't actually O until maybe around CD 40 if at all.

It's a local place back home (about 2 hrs from my current location). Cucci's (yes that is the real name, its the owners last name). It is an italian resturant their Calzones and sandwiches are amazing!

Thoughts, Questions, Chart Stalk Requests, Etc: Temping drives me batty (trying it - started mid-cycle). I reset FF to go off of OPK+ instead of advanced because it still had me predicted to ovulate last Thursday instead of after I had 2 OPK+s.

Testing Plans: I like to wait until 5 days past AF due, so 18DPO. Less chance of being disappointed. I've never had a negative because AF comes or I've actually been pg. I think I'd be really disappointed with a negative test. AF coming is easier for me to deal with because instead of just a negative, it's the start of a new cycle of trying. Sappy, but works for me!

This AM a trace amount of brown blood when wiping (TMI sorry) and having cramping/pulling sensations. Negative on a dollar store HPT with FMU.

My experience has been that when I lived in Columbus, Cincinnati looked awesome... Columbus has made a lot of great strides though while Cincinnati is just finally coming back from a slump.

Plus my post-O temps just keep climbing, last cycle they were really up and down erratic. Trying not to get my hopes up but it's so hard not to!

Testing plans: My last BFP was at 12 dpo, so will probably test around the same time this cycle.
Thoughts/Questions/Rants/Chart Stalk Requests: I had + opks on Sunday & Monday (test line was darker than the control both days), but Monday am the test line darkened almost on contact, so I think that perhaps I O'd late Monday or Tuesday.
GTKY: What is your favorite restaurant? Eleven Madison Park for fine dining, Locande Verde or Fig & Olive for casual, all in Manhattan. I'm a molecular gastronomy fanatic, so adore Eleven Madison Park because the chef(s) are able to embrace innovation and really push the limits. Locanda Verde is in one of my favorite parts of TriBeCa - fabulous italian with classical and modern combinations and an extensive wine cellar... Fig & Olive has amazing crostini and antipasti.

Oops, I have to edit this, FF changed my ovulation date today. I was going to be 7 DPO today but am now 9. Well the change definitely improves my timing and is better with my mucous. But I do have a temp under the cover line because of it.

Testing Plans: I'm testing any day now if my temperature goes back up a little. If it does not and I can hold out, I will wait 5 or so more days (basically wait for AF). But I might cave and test tomorrow for no real reason whatsoever.
Thoughts: My reason for testing if my temp goes up is that I'll superstitiously think that my dip today and yesterday was an implantation dip. But I didn't have implantation bleeding or anything (which I got last time). I know it's such an unreliable sign, but I'm trying to tell myself if I don't see a bit of spotting I'm not pregnant, so I don't get my hopes up (and I never spot mid-cycle, so I think it's safe that I won't falsely get my hopes up.)
This cycle my phantom symptoms are really strong but I think it's because it's my first cycle back to temping. Still, annoying as hell. I keep thinking I'll know if I'm pregnant because I was pregnant once before but I think it just makes the phantom symptoms worse. I also really want it to work out this cycle because I have little hope for upcoming cycles due to travel and potentially needing to swtich to TTA for a few cycles because of my job. So, FX for this cycle....
GTYK: I'm not a fan of chain restaurants (see the "snob" poll--my snobbery was food.) But if I have to choose a chain, I consider Panera a good go-to for fast food.
As for restaurants I like, I haven't found a favorite where I currently live. I used to live in Philadelphia and had a few favorites there. Vetri was probably my top choice but there are so many amazing restaurants in Philadelphia it's hard to choose.

Yay, I was hoping that someone might also be aware of how awesome Spice Market is! My husband does work for them (computer stuff) so whenever we are there, they always send out special dishes for us to try. Love it!
