Joining the Dec group!..Story

So, Thursday at work I went into "early labor" and went to L&D..After an hour and a half in triage I had gone from 1cm to  3 cm and 50% effaced and told that it was go time!! We were admitted and finally got to a room got my IV around 10:45pm and left to just wait!!! I was able to get a little bit of sleep that night and then when I was checked Friday morning I was STILL 3cm and 50% effaced. So they sent us home and said "See ya in a few days!" Ugh, Let down! I know its early so its better for the LO to stay in (36 weeks yesterday) but at this point I am just over it! The contractions still haven't stop I had my "bloody show" Friday night and all day Saturday and still nothing!! I was so frustrated today I emailed my Dr and asked how long this can go on for. She basically told me she knows it sucks and that it can go on for weeks, but she doesn't think it will be to much longer! Anyone else in the same boat and so over it!? I cant stop thinking about how I may have to walk around like this for weeks..I just wanna be done!!

    Thats terrible! I don't have any experience with that but I just wanted to let you know I hope you don't have to wait much longer and have your LO in your arms soon!

    I think I would focus on the thought that it's much better for LO to stay in. 36 weeks is still pretty early.

    I've never even gone into labor on my own, so I can't help you there. Just wanted to say that I hope you're not left in limbo too long and that your LO comes out quick and healthy.
