Ladies who developed HELLP please come in!!

I went for my yearly physical about 3wks ago and had blood work done, I let my Dr. know that I developed HELLP in my pregnancy and wanted her to make sure they checked in on my platelets and liver enzymes again just to make sure all was good.

(My son is 7 months now) two weeks after I delivered my platelets were up to 233

Well I get my results back and my platelets are back down to 113, now I've read that a lot of times women who develop hellp have an unknown underlying blood coagulation issue which can be determined with a simple blood test.

Is there anyone who can give me a little more knowledge of this? Have any of you went on to still have low platelets? any info is welcome!!

I go to see a hematologist Thursday but I'm just interested to hear others experiences.

    I developed HELLP as well. I haven't gone for blood work to check on my levels. I guess that is one thing I should do :/ Do you feel your body is any if fervent nice getting it? Or any things that are different about your body because of it?

    I had HELLP but I never went back to have my levels checked, they started going up immediately after I gave birth.

    I have a doctor's appointment next week and I'm going to ask them about this. 

    But I'm curious like PP said - do you feel any differently?

    I'm curious to know what level of HELLP you had / what were your numbers? I haven't had any testing done since I was discharged. My numbers were 185/146ish BP (I was so out of it I don't remember for sure), 1800 liver enzymes, 42 platelets. I had a severe case and almost had a transfusion for platelets. 

    Let us know what you find out at the Doctor please :-)

    I had developed HELLP as well and just had my blood levels checked. My blood platelet count was back to the normal range but my iron levels were super low so they put me back on iron supplements. I hope all is well and they figure out what's going on :(

    I'm not sure what level of hellp I developed but I'm pretty sure it was the mild one. And no I don't have any "off" feelings, I feel completely normal.

    I get my results back on the 20th, will let you ladies know what they say!
