So to update you with my see you next Tuesday sister... this morning she actually says to me that I should be grateful shes even coming to the party and helping me decorate and that I should say thank you more often. Excuse me?! I do say thank you constantly and even if I didn't, she should WANT to help me with her nephews party. She shouldn't be expecting thank yous, ykwim? She said other sht too but I'm just done with her bs. I'm taking a break from her. I honestly don't even want to go to my familys Christmas party anymore.
Anyway, so this morning Bishop was baptized and we had the reception at a restaurant. We also celebrated Griffs 2nd birthday even though his real birthday isn't until the 11th.

I know what you mean about being tired of families. My H has the opportunity to apply for a job in DC and I was almost thinking of telling him to do it so we could get away from our families!
Just read your other post. UGH. That sucks. I'm so shocked that your mom wasn't interested in going to the baptism. Is she not religious like every other Filipino mom?? If my mom hadn't cared so much about C getting baptized, he probably wouldn't have been! Did she end up going?
And sorry your sister is being lame. Is she younger? Just curious. My younger SIL almost skipped C's baptism too. It's a good thing you're taking a break from your sis.
At least it's all over now. It looks like everything turned out great. G & B are soooo cute!
I'm sorry for the drama. A little bit different, but my sister skipped my college graduation to go to a track meet. Years later she apologized after she grew up and realized that is was important to support family.
The good news is you and the boys looked great! I hope the boys had fun at the party.

Yea my mom is crazy. She was so adamant on Griff being baptized last year and now she doesn't care about Bishops! She did end up going but I feel like its cause I persuaded her to.
My sisters older! You'd think she would understand better. My (younger) brother thinks its because I'm younger but I'm married and have kids and shes a bit jealous (she isn't married and has no kiddos)? If thats the case, just put your damn feelings aside! This party if for G and B, you know? I'm totally taking a break from her. Shes exhausting.

Oh, she's older? Well, I do think sometimes people don't realize the importance of things until they've gone through it themselves. It sounds like even though your sister is older, she still has some growing up to do
