Drop in liners for freezing

I have the playtex drop in liners that could be used for freezing. I had seen somewhere that you don't have to buy the rings/caps that you can just use rubber bands.

Does anyone know anyway to seal them for freezing without spending the extra money on the rings?

  • Fwiw, I found it much easier to just use Lansinoh freezer bags and thaw/pour into liners as I needed the bottles. The freezer rings sounded like a great idea but in reality they were a PITA. The freezer bags also store flat.

This was the brand recommended to me as well. I've heard some of the other brands are more likely to break and leak.

This, except you don't even need to pour the milk into the Playtex liners, you can use your Lansinoh bag as a liner.

  • The Lansinoh bags, the Pyrex drop ins, the gerber bags and the Target brand bag all fit. I used a mixture of them all. I did have the playtex lid kit its just a few s, but liked the other bags too. I don't know that I'd trust a rubber band tho.
