I should never read the stories on google news in the middle of the night. It stresses me out. I just read this story about a cancer-causing chemical found in baby products and now I'm worried because my changing pad is on the list of affected products. Would you try to exchange it? Unfortunately, I've already tossed out the packaging so I don't know if they'll even let me return it.

Re: Chlorinated Tris
do you have a cover on the changing pad? if so, baby won't be coming in contact with the pad itself..
**edit** our changing pad is on there too, OP...but the article seems to indicate that the chemicals in the story are harmful when they come in contact with baby directly..keep a changing pad cover on your changing pad (and when you change the cover, wash your hands before you touch LO) and it should be fine
