Re: New-mom resolutions

  • Mine is to start dinner a little earlier. By the time my kids finishing eating, take baths, get put to bed and actually fall asleep, the last thing I want to come back downstairs to is a disaster zone kitchen. I'm going to make sure I give enough time to do the dishes before my team heads upstairs!

That was my problem too. It would be 9:30 or later and I'd be standing in the kitchen doing dishes when all I wanted to do was read. By the time I finished cleaning the kitchen I was too tired to do anything but sleep, so no me time.

This past year has been a very trying year for us and I let it get me down in many ways. My resolution for next year is to wake up each day counting my blessings and have a positive outlook for anything that may come. We need a much bigger house. That is our 2013 goal and I need to remain optimistic that we will get that perfect house for us in time.

  • Get back in shape. Its so lame but i have really let myself go and it doesn't feel good. My second is to get out and socialize with friends and my husband more. Sahm so my focus has been on lo fir the last year almost exclusively. We have never left him over night and really only 4 times with family.
