Mommy/Baby local groups

Hi ya!!
Can anyone recommend a cool Mommy/Baby meet up group here in Houston? Storytime, music, play groups, I'm open to it all. My friends all have older children and I'd like to get Baby involved with some other babies as well as be able to meet up with other Mommies!

My birth month group recommended going to meetup.com to find a group, but I went and couldn't find just a generic group that was accepting members. If no one else responds here with an option, I am considering starting my own group on meetup. If I do, I'll let you know!

Hi! I am new to Houston & came across your post in my search for mom & baby groups here. My daughter is 5 months old, I stay home with her and we currently live in the Royal Oaks Country Club in Westchase. I would love to find a group or start one! The only thing I've found is The Motherhood Center, just haven't ventured there yet. Perhaps we should pledge to meet there for a class to check it out!

I would love to join a mommy baby group although I am not due until June 2013! We live out west 10 and hwy 6 but are thinking about moving closer to memorial city mall area.

I joined several mommy groups on meetup. Including yours. I had to keep looking and trying different search words and looked on others pages. You can look at my membership for other groups too. I live in Tomball so alot of mine are out my way. I havent actually been to any yet. I guess I'm a little shy about meeting new people but i sure want too. Right now I am not working and have lots of time. There is a great group at Tomball library for almost and actually walking tots at 10:30 on Mondays. younger babes at 9:30. I did go to that and he (CADEN, 11 MO) loved it.
