Re: CPW: 4 month sleep regression?

  • I think it is hard to tell sometimes.  4-4.5m ish was when she started teething so that usually hurts sleep.  She also was dx with reflux when she was 4m so that helped her sleep.  So I'm not really sure :p

  • He's always been a great sleeper. The only tougher nights we've had were caused by teething & when he is sick / congested. (& that is very, very minimal wakes.) he typically sleeps 11-12 hours a night & 2-3 hour nap during the day. We are spoiled.

  • DD has always been a crappy sleeper, waking multiple times each night for her pacifier.  She got worse right before her 4 month appt but we figured out it was because she outgrew her Zantac dose for her reflux.  She got better once it was adjusted.  T-giving weekend, she was waking 3-4 times/night.  But the week following it got crappy again, once waking 9 times in 11 hours.  That was for 2 nights and then out of the blue, she gave us 2 fantastic nights where she only woke twice on one night and once on another night...and that includes her feeding.  It was fantastic.  But then she started sleeping crappy again.  Sometimes she wakes up 30 min after falling back asleep so we start the plugging process again.

I think the 2 really crappy nights before the fantastic nights were from the start of teething...but I have no idea what's going on now.  I just hope it gets better soon because mama needs sleep.

All that to say I answered SS because I have no idea what's going on.
