How is everyone doing on their shopping? I have 7 more people I need to buy for, but for 3 of them I have no idea what to buy. One is my FIL (probably will ask for a gift card to Home Depot or Lowe's) and the other 2 are my grandparents. Last year I bought my grandparents audio books and they seemed to like them, but I'm not sure they'd want them 2 years in a row. What do you buy for people who rarely feel well enough to go anywhere or do anything?
One surprise hit gift this year is wool dryer balls. I bought some last year and, after seeing mine, several people have asked for them. I may tend to go on and on about how wonderful they are...

IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!

They don't own a TV.
And don't want one. lol They only watch the news on the internet. Which I think is all they use their internet for! They are in their early 70s. I thought about getting them a bunch of gift cards to all their favorite restaurants, but we (the family) are trying to get them to eat healthier.
I just feel bad for them. Before my grandfather retired they traveled a lot for his job, but then his company forced him into early retirement and he wasn't able to find work after that. So they went from a life of traveling and new experiences to being home all the time. Since then their health has really declined. Maybe I'll get them something to do with travel. They are always excited to hear about and see pics of trips MH & I take.

First, what the heck is a wool dryer ball? Lol I'm intruiged.
I have a few more gifts to get, but I knocked out most of them through ebates on Black Friday. We got out Christmas Tree decorated on Saturday and it's been nice to have a lot of gifts wrapped and sitting underneath.
I am really struggling with what to get DH and my dad who just moved into my neighborhood and is blind. I'm really scratching my head on that one!

Wool dryer balls are used in place of dryer sheets. The balls bounce around and help the hot air get to all the clothes/towels/whatever thus reducing drying time. The wool helps reduce static. Also, they don't put the film on the filter like dryer sheets do. Interesting! I'm going to check those out! As far as audio books go, that is a great idea however he gets free audiobook through the national federation for the blind. I'm not sure who I am having a harder time shopping for - him or DH!

Beta #2 2/8/13 - 586! , Beta #3 2/10/13 = 1898. First u/s perfect little heart beat at 116 bpm. Measure 6 weeks 1 day. EDD 10/14/13

IVF #2 Lucky November 2011 - ER 11/25/2011 - 15 eggs!, 13 mature, 10 fertilized with isci - 7 made it to transfer! Transferred 1 - 8 cell and 2 - 7 cell. BFP!!!!
1st U/S - Twins! 2nd U/S - 3 heartbeats!!! - HOLY COW!!!
