Hello All,
My DS will be 10 months old this month and we are gradually weening away from jar food. I am looking for some breakfast and lunch ideas for him. Ususally at dinner he eats what we are eating, but as far as breakfast and mianly lunch i am a little fuzzy. I know breakfast he could have waffles, pancakes ect.., but i am loking into what everyone else might be feeding there Lo's for lunch. Need to get some ideas! He currently has 6 teeth!
Thanks so much!!!!
Re: Meal Ideas
Yea we do leftovers a lot. I am starting to try to do a protein at every meal, but I don't always, sometimes just fruit and veggies and pasta or cereal. She likes the yogurt smoothies I just put a straw in the container. We have done eggs (hard boiled or scrambled), but depends on your allergy situation. We do oatmeal a lot for breakfast, I have the quick oats and I make with half water half apple juice, she loves it and even likes it cold as leftovers (it is semi solid and she can pick up). Pasta is also good, I just cook in water but my sister cooks in chicken broth for my niece for a little more nutrition. Also, edamame I buy frozen shelled and can cook as little as I want at a time.
As for regular fruits and veggies I have had success, some are not in season now but I will list anyway, avacado, melon, ripe peaches, ripe plums, bananas, peas, zucchini, yellow squash, sweet potato, and blueberries. Also, I will buy the fruit cups in juice or water I have given her peaches and pears that way.
Breakfast: porridge, yoghurt, toast, fruit.
Lunch: boiled egg, tuna, fruit, sandwiches, pieces of cheese, raisins, quiche, left overs from dinner.

Have you tried eggs? My LO freaking loves eggs. We do bananas, eggs, little pieces of toast with jelly, fruit, cheerios, waffles, pancakes, etc.
Pretty much anything we eat, she eats!
