Scout and Violet laptops ?

I have several little kiddos to buy for and I am wondering about the My Talking LapPup? It is super cheap so I don't really think I can go wrong but is it good for our age group? It says 6 months to 2 years, quite a range there. Hoping someone has it...

    We don't have it but I would think it would be fine for this age range.  If your LO isn't interested in it right now, it's something they would grow into.  Always better to get gifts they can use for awhile/grow into rather than gifts they'll be bored with too quickly!

    We have the Violet LapPup.  We bought it for a car trip when DD was 14 months old.  She is now 19 months old.  While she LOVES Violet, the "lapPup" doesn't get a whole lot of use.
