First off, I would like to start off by thanking all you wonderful ladies. You have been with me through cramping, spotting, bleeding, horrible OBs, switching OBs, trips to the ER and L&D. This is a great board that I will always be proud to have been a part of. 

 I posted on thursday that I was no longer able to pick up LO's heartbeat on our doppler. I was a bit upset, but that baby could just be hiding. After a few days, I still wasn't able to find the heartbeat and the bleeding had picked up. DH talked me into going into L&D yesterday afternoon, not wanting to wait until our OB appointment on Tuesday. 

The nurse couldn't find a heartbeat on the doppler either and went to get the ultrasound machine. We soon found out our sweet baby had passed since the time we heard the heartbeat on the Tuesday, 4 days before.

I was induced and later gave birth. Our sweet baby boy, Preston Hayes, was born sleeping at 9:37pm last night. We got to hold him, talk to him, rock him, take pictures of him, etc. It was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. I had to have a D&C to remove the placenta, and lost a lot of blood- 1 liter, maybe more.

We make funeral arrangements tomorrow and can't imagine having to make these decisions. There's a cemetery in town that has a special area for babies that they offer free of charge that will be taking care of the arrangements. We are very grateful for this service.

    DX: PCOS/Recurrent losses/MTHFR mutation (compound hetero)
    5 hysteroscopies/2 surgical
    3 Inject IUIs = 2 m/c's and 1 BFN
    IVF #1= BFP. m/c at 7w6d. Needed 2 D&C's and scar tissue removal. Mild OHSS
    IVF #2 = BFP. Severe OHSS. 4 Drainings. TWINS!

    Oh sweetie I am so sad for you. There are no words that will console your heart I know. I am eith Petra, I encourage you to seek out the loss boards. The ladies there know your pain and sometimes were the only thing that got me through. You aren't alone. Hold your DH's hand and cry together... I hold you both in my thoughts and prayers.
